Back on the ground in D.C. after completing my first Atlantic crossing in the Boeing 767-400 to Madrid, Spain. 🇪🇸 ✈️

Couldn’t have asked for a better first trip with a great crew, awesome destination and even a tailwind in both directions making our flight time 7.5 hours each way with two full flights.

The next one has a lot to live up to!

After 5 years, 2000 hours and 1542 flights yesterday was officially my last day at @airwisconsin and American Eagle. I had a wonderful time at this airline and it went by so fast. It has taken me to many places and I’ve met many incredible people and friends. Although I was only a captain for a year, it gave me the opportunity to fulfill a dream and reach a goal I set for myself. It allowed me to be the leader that I’ve always wanted to be, and I can’t wait to do it again at my next airline.

This airline has that family feel and that is something I am going to miss greatly. Thank you to all the Captains, First Officers, Flight Attendants, Dispatchers, Instructors and many more that l’ve worked with every day for the past five years. You all do such amazing work and it was an honor to be your coworker. l’m excited for this next chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you soon! 👋🏽✈️ taken in Dayton International Airport (DAY) by @pilot.tej

Celebrating five years of soaring through the skies as an airline pilot and one year as captain. Never a boring day flying the CRJ around much of the east coast and mid-west of America. Cheers to the blue skies and endless adventures ahead!👨🏽‍✈️✈️

Bridging my way through Venice 🛶✨

The famous and most beautiful bridge in Venice 🌉
Out of over 400 bridges in Venice, only four cross the Grand Canal! 🤩 The oldest, grandest and most famous of them all is Rialto bridge 🙌🏽🇮🇹

POV: You hike up a 6,500 year old volcanic crater lake 🌋🇮🇸

The lake inside the crater gets its brilliant blue color from the minerals in the ground that mix with the water and is surrounded by walls of red volcanic rock, some covered in a vibrant green moss. A great stop on your Golden Circle road trip! 🚗

A hidden waterfall on Iceland’s south coast, Kvernufoss is a true hidden gem 💎🇮🇸

💡One unique feature of Kvernufoss is that you can walk behind the waterfall itself. There is a small cavelike opening in the cliff wall, allowing you to experience the waterfall from a different perspective.
