Hidden in the desert landscapes of Nazca, the Acueductos de Cantalloc reveal the incredible ingenuity of an ancient civilization.

Built centuries ago by the Nazca people, these remarkable stone structures were part of an ingenious underground water system designed to bring life to one of the driest regions of Peru.
Their fascinating spiral openings, perfectly arranged stone walls and timeless architecture are a reminder of how advanced ancient civilizations could be 🌵

A journey into history, where water, nature and human ingenuity meet ✨

👁️ The Watchers of the Desert 🏜️

Carved into a hillside near Palpa, in Peru's Ica region, the Geoglifo de los Observadores (the Geoglyph of the Observers) has been staring across the desert for centuries 🌄

The geoglyphs of Palpa are believed to be older than the famous Nazca Lines, made by the Paracas and Topará cultures between about 500 BC and the start of our era ✨

Some of these figures are best understood from high above 🛩️

Who were they watching … and who were they made for ? 🤔👇
