My Top 5 Tips for Fall Road Trips:

🍁 Check foliage forecasts: Peak foliage does not happen at the same time every year, and it varies depending on location. Local news stations, travel blogs, and social media apps are great online tools to find out when Fall colors will likely peak at the destination you wish to visit.

⛽️ #Ad Fuel Up at Pilot: I always plan my road trip stops around @pilotflyingj to grab some hot coffee, road snacks, and a full tank of gas!

☀️ Start Your Days Early: If you want to avoid the crowds at popular destinations…it really does help to start your day as early as possible. Plus, days are shorter in the Fall, so the earlier you get going, the more time you have to enjoy leaf peeping! (If you prefer to hit the snooze button, see the next tip.)

🧘‍♀️ Pack Your Patience: You’re probably not the only person who wanted to see the changing of the seasons…especially if you choose to travel on the weekend. Don’t be in a rush to get anywhere.

☔️ Come Prepared: Keep an eye on your weather apps and plan accordingly. Depending on where you choose to travel…Fall weather can be VERY unpredictable. Always pack extra layers, and if you like to travel on a motorcycle like me…PACK THE RAIN GEAR…or even heated gear if you have it!

👋 See you out here!
