💙 “Er zijn echt manieren waarop je je passie weer terug kan vinden, ook als je het gevoel hebt dat je helemaal in de knoop zit.” Pim (29) is oud-maker en ziet hun tijd bij CRE8 als hele belangrijke jaren.

Na een zware periode (her)ontdekte hen bij CRE8 het plezier in maken en experimenteren. Een mooi voorbeeld hiervan? Oorbellen in de kleuren van de transvlag, speciaal ontworpen voor een vriend. Dit project groeide zelfs uit tot het ontwerpen van een eigen lettertype 🌼✨

lifedrawing at @skekamsterdam ✍️🏻 this felt like a weird crossover episode of topics in my life, haha.

anyways, i had a blast at yesterday's sip 'n draw! many thanks to @nisangnlcn and @syan_m20 for modeling & many thanks to @skekamsterdam / @larissa.larsson for organising! 🍻 there even was someone playing the piano live, i loved that.

it was really nice to do some irl lifedrawing again! i'm so used to doing it via zoom now, haha. there's a lot of charm in both online and physical lifedrawing imo.

also, big win: finally used enough fixation on the charcoal (for what feels like the first time in my life) so my drawings actually survived the trip home and didn't end up all muddy and mushy. hooray for crisp charcoal lines!

it sure has been a while since i last visited @queerlifedrawing (more then three months, woops) but it was so nice to be back! great to see all the familiar faces again. as always, thank you so much for hosting, @callenwynn!

really pleased with how today's drawings turned out. helena really gave us a challenge with amazing poses, including tilted heads and carefully placed hands and feet. taken in ZOOM by @pimvdrwerff

today i learned that drawing two people takes about three times the effort of drawing one person. you need twice the time for the second body, but thrice the time to draw how they relate to one another. 💞

thank you @natalielissenden and @jedge_3 for your modelling and poses! unfortunately i wasn't able to capture all the loving smiles and glances that you shared today 🥰

finally had some time this weekend to go to restock some much needed art supplies at my favorite local store. i always forget those stores are closed on sunday 😅

thank you @mnsbelle for the fun poses ☺️ and as always, thanks so much to @callenmckeon and @iamhuld for creating such an amazing artistic online queer space 🥰 congrats on running this 100 times today! i hope to see you many more sunday afternoons ❤️

new year, same queer life drawing buddies 🥰 had a blast drawing @fazahthemazza (she/they) at @queerlifedrawing! i really liked the new pose times, helping me to focus on quick gestures and general shapes first :)
