Romans 6, water baptism

��💥Dying to the old self and its sinful way of life.
💥Executing the old man
💥United together withChrist in the likeness of His death. Executed with Christ.
��💥Being buried with Christ.
💥The new creation, born again, saved, remission of sins separated from the body of sin.
��💥Being raised to walk in newness of life by the glory of the Father.

Romans 6:4 says that believers are
“buried with him through baptism into death” and then raised to a new life. Death to body of sin, the sin nature. Sin no longer rules you, it has lost its control over you. You are no longer its slave.

United together with Christ in His death and resurrection.

The corpse in pipe symbolizes:
💥The corpse in the pipe symbolizes the “old man” or “old self” being put to death, executed, and disposed of.
��💥The words “gossip,” “sexual immorality,” and “profanity” and more represent the sin nature that was attached to body of sin that is executed.
��💥The flushing action symbolizes the removal and ripping away from the body of sin, a separating from it, it is no longer who they are.
��💥The lake at the end symbolizes those sins being carried away and left behind.

The corpse is “Buried with Christ in baptism,” the man being lifted from the water is “raised to walk in newness of life by the glory of the Father.” by @pinahipp
