New schedules, new routines, and let’s be honest, a few holes in the plan. Nanny on vacation? After school coverage fell through?
For over 35 years, Pinch Sitters has been the call NYC parents make when the regular plan falls apart. September is our busiest season.
We’ve got you.

Our vetting process has always been thorough: background checks, reference checks, in person interviews, and more. For a few years, it also came with two small, very honest bonus interviewers.👶👶

Visiting parents ask us all the time: can we actually get a sitter at our hotel?

You can. Our sitter comes to you, so the kids stay in a familiar space while you get your evening out.

We place vetted, trusted, and experienced sitters in hotels, Airbnb‘s and VRBO’s across the city.

Reach out and request a sitter! Link in bio

26 years running NY Pinch Sitters. Still showing up for NYC families.🗽
This June marks 26 years since I took the helm — and I couldn't be more grateful. To every family who has trusted us with their most precious people: thank you. Here's to many more. 🙌

When you need a sitter the same morning you call, that’s exactly what we’re here for 🙌. Graham reached out in a pinch, and we came through. From same-day coverage to a temporary nanny for several weeks, his family had reliable, caring help every step of the way. That’s 35+ years of showing up for NYC families. ❤️ #PinchSitters #NYCBabysitting #NYCChildcare #EmergencyChildcare #happyclients taken in NYC by @pinchsittersllc
