Sometimes a finished project just doesn’t feel right …

Or sometimes an item doesn’t sell that season (or the next!)…

So sometimes, I reclaim the yarn and start again! Please note, I’ve only ever done this with wool - synthetic fibres won’t recover the same way after being knit.

The pattern is written for 4 weights with easy-to -follow instructions. I know it’s not cold enough to wear it yet, but we can’t deny that it won’t be long (the sooner the better IMO! 😉)

Is anyone else impatiently waiting for fall? The cool mornings and evenings, the colours, the vibe? Oh how I love it! 🍂🍁

In the meantime, I’m knitting my first scarf in literally decades. I couldn’t resist these cables. Now to decide if it’ll be available at my first market in September, or if I’ll be adding it to my personal collection 😉

Let’s welcome Holly and @pine_cabin_stitches to our Nov 7th and 8th market at Heritage Park in Stony Plain. Holly will be bringing knitted and crocheted items for adults, children and babies- toques, mittens, baby booties and toque sets, neck warmers, ear warmers, shawls and custom order sweaters. And she’s done!

I finished the #orientashawl for the #malabrigokal and she’s off to her forever home in BC as an 80th birthday gift ☺️

I love knitting #sockweight shawls but I have several so I’ll be gifting the next one I make as well. Now, to choose the next pattern … any suggestions?
