Join me Sunday October 18 from 12pm to 4pm for a fun workshop at Pinion Printmaking, located at 304 N Main Street here in Butte. You can find a sign up link in my bio. Class will take place at @pinionprintmaking

Students will design and carve a block and learn to print a repeating pattern on a bandana by hand. You can reuse your block after the class and print on all kinds of fabric. This is a really fun and easy way to fabric print without doing a big silkscreen set up. All materials are included in the class. Slowly but surely we are moving in! It's the height of both our work schedules, but soon we will start moving presses. We can't wait to invite some print friends over to make stuff in the shop. taken in Uptown Butte by @pinionprintmaking

The future home of Pinion Printmaking, a printmaking studio in the heart of Uptown Butte.

Two months ago we, @lost.ornithology and @bigtimelivermore , started work on a new studio space. It will have an etching press, letterpress and silkscreen. We are also interested in collaboration with fellow printers and have a studio set aside for visiting artists.

A lot of time with friends has been spent repainting so it's not mauve, removing old carpets and cleaning up. Floors are being finished today 💪. Equipment will start moving into place as soon as the floor is done. It's been a lot of work and it looks so different from when we started already.
