It’s hard to believe 26 years have passed. So much has changed, our boys have grown into amazing men, and life has gone on… but I still remember the days we shared and the life we once had.

I don’t even know how to put into words how much I miss you.

It’s been two years, but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and wish you were still here. Some days it hits me harder than others, and I find myself wishing I could just hear your voice, talk to you, or have one more day with you.

I miss your presence, your voice, your laugh, and just knowing you were here. I miss being able to pick up the phone and talk to you. I miss the things I probably took for granted because I never imagined I would have to live without them.

There are so many things I wish I could tell you. So many things happening in my life that I wish you could be here to see. I wonder what you would say, what advice you would give me, and if you would be proud of me.

I hold onto our memories so tightly because they’re all I have now. The conversations, the laughs, the good times, and even the little moments that I didn’t realize would mean so much to me one day.

Losing you left a part of my heart that will always miss you. Life has gone on, but that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped wishing you were here. I carry you with me every single day.

Two years have passed, Pa, and I still miss you just as much. But I’m learning to find comfort in knowing that the love we shared didn’t end when you left. It lives on in my heart, in my memories, and in the person you helped me become.

I hope you’re somewhere peaceful, watching over us, smiling and knowing how deeply you are loved.
