I’ve talked about this before, but I always find solace in my skin care routine. Especially whatever I do at night, because it sets me up for more restful sleep, which is literally everything when I’m stressed. These two are my personal favorites in the evening.

Skin care is a personal touchstone for me when I feel down. There’s something about the feel and aroma of the products and the movement of the stagnation on my face that just brings me a private moment of peace. .

It’s been a while, and I have some good news.

Last December I closed things down, not sure when or if I’d be back at it.

But this month I’m making batches of four favorites:

Crystal Facial Tonic
Crystal Rose Elixir
Flower Fall

They are available for pre-order now. Orders close September 24th at midnight PST, or when they sell out, whichever comes first! Everything will ship by October 1st.

For now, this is a one-time offering. But depending how it goes, I may continue to sell these products seasonally.

After fifteen years of creating, blending, bottling, and shipping these little bottles of magic, I’ve come to a turning point with Pink Light.

The truth is simple and hard: rising costs and slowing sales have made it difficult to keep producing the line in the way I always have. Unless something unexpected unfolds - an angel investor, a partner, or the right buyer - I’ll be closing down the Pink Light skincare line at the end of this year.

There’s a chance I may continue a pared-down version someday, but for now I’m moving forward as though this chapter is closing, with gratitude for everything it’s been, and a fair amount of grief.

This decision wasn’t made in haste; it arrived slowly, with reflection and trust. Pink Light has been my life’s work: a way of tending beauty, energy, and ritual in tangible form. My memories hold thousands of bottles filled, orders wrapped with care, and handwritten notes meant to bring you moments of beauty, joy, and self-love. May that energy carry with you always.

If you feel disappointed, I understand. But I hope this ending can also feel inspiring – to see that we can listen to our magic, intuition, & alignment, even when it asks for a leap. That’s what this moment is for me. Even though it wasn’t an easy decision, I feel a call to travel lighter and focus my creative energy in new directions.

Before the chapter closes, I want to celebrate what we’ve created. This year’s Small Business Saturday Sale will be the final one. Everything available now is part of this closing season. The shop will stay open through the holidays, or until inventory sells out. If you love something, now is the time to savor and stock up.

More than anything, thank you. Thank you for believing in handmade beauty, for supporting an independent business, and for walking this long, luminous path with me. So many of you have been here since the beginning; so many of you have shown up again and again, even through the hardest stretches. Please know that I’ve noticed every bit of it, and I am so deeply grateful.
