February, 2020 God told me that I was going to make double the amount of money I was making monthly. I doubted Him-struggling to pay off a car note and grad school tuition (2nd Master’s).

Then in March 2020, @drgaylena told that I was getting ready to do what I’ve never seen done in my family and that though it looked it impossible God was going to do it, fast. I doubted her. Did she know how much hell I was going through? Could she not see me?

May 2020, I was writing in my journal and saw two words: Pink Moss. I had made my own seamoss but didn’t think I could make it pink. I immediately went to the store and after playing for a few hours in the kitchen, I made @pinkmossme.

Then I prayed and God lead me to Psalm 90:17-“I will bless the work of your hands. The blessing of the Lord is upon you.

In June @toberuby started a Water Challenge and when one of her friends asked if any one made seamoss, I volunteered my formula. After all her friends purchased, I sent out over 200 text messages and in the first week, I sold 75 jars of @pinkmossme .

After that week, I cried so hard my face hurt. I had made enough money to pay off my car note. I was floored.

To date, over 9,000 here visited my site. AND that’s not including all the clients I served before I even had a site.

Do YA’LL hear me?

I started @pinkmossme with 9 clients and have reached 9,000. (I marketed this product with no experience, working a full-time job and attending full-time school; and still am. )

Bruh! I can’t believe God not only kept His word but exceeded it. Bruh I can’t believe @drgaylena prayed for me when my heart was tired and my attitude was 😵‍💫. Bruh I can’t believe @toberuby encouraged her friends to buy my product so I could have money to start my business.

@pinkmossme taught me that God loves me and doesn’t need my help to finish what He started.

Here’s to all the entrepreneurs, who were born from grit, grind, and prayer and never ran from the process.

It’s OUR time.

And I’m just getting started.

I remember the day I launched @pinkmossme in stores six months ago. I was on the verge of canceling the party, overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. I had so many fears, I couldn’t think straight.

After calling my friends, I sat with my fears and wounds and faced the little girl who had memories of loss, abandonment and fear of failure and told her, “we’re worth it. “

On that day 120 showed up, sold me out, set up, and took down. I left my event, got home, and cried my eyes out.

Six months later, Saturday to be exact, we kickoff our third location-in a different city-in a different state.

I’ve smiled as I’ve sat with clients whose bodies were betraying them. I’ve answered phone calls of women who needed to feel like themselves again. I answered the call to @pinkmossme and if I’m being honest, it’s all been worth it.

Business is humbling because it shows you, you but the decision to grow is yours.

I’d say, go for it!
