My poem “Sheila, the Vanisher” makes an appearance in Pree, issue 13. I didn’t know Sheila personally - never even seen a photograph of her. But I did meet her killers, who are incarcerated at Carrera island. Yet they are often featured as artists, and their work sold for profit. May Sheila and the suffering she endured never be forgotten. See link in bio for the full poem. #sheilathevanisher #caribbeanpoetry #caribbeanwomen #sheila #preelit #pree #preecaribbeanwriting by @pinkpoui
