In 2025, I lost someone who meant the absolute world to me. It has been one of the most difficult chapters of my life and for a long time I couldn’t find the words to express what I was feeling.This new track became my way of doing that.It’s the first time I’ve ever written a full set of lyrics completely on my own and the first time I’ve had the confidence to pitch those lyrics to a vocalist.When @aylinaloskimusic sent the finished vocals back, hearing words that had only ever existed in my world come to life was one of the most emotional moments I’ve experienced as an artist and wow, what an incredible job she did!No matter where this ID ends up, it will always be one of the most personal pieces of music I’ve ever created.
