Yesterday was one of the most enjoyable days I’ve ever had playing. First off, I’ve been wanting to play @theflindersgolfclub ever since I drove past it 4 years ago. Actually, you drive through it. It was everything I expected and more. Scenic, beautiful, challenging, but not too hard… and there were some really fun holes. @futuregolf held it’s last round of their @mgigolf tour to win a $2800 buggy - and it was right down to the wire - @scottystack just missing out!
Secondly, even though it’s been raining quite heavily, the course held up and greens were still lighting! Super impressive…
Finally… the weather really turned it up. I know we can’t control it, but yesterday the weather was spectacular. Barely any wind, and the sun was warming us up beautifully.
Special mention to Louis in our group who hit an Eagle on the coffin! A short par 4 over 2 massive cliff faces that run into the ocean! (I had a pick up and hit into the hazards twice off the tee 😬)
Do yourself a favour, if you’re never played here… it’s a must. It’s a nice, easy to book, public access course.

A special day on the sand belt. Thank you @marcwoolfson for the shout. The history, the course design, the lush fairways, lightning fast greens… we are so spoilt here in Melbourne. What a memorable experience and I hope I get to play again soon!

What a day!!!!! Thanks to everyone who came to play and show their support for our annual HPS Charity Golf Day.

Huge shout out to @_xchris_ for your help and the main man @pinoyslice_golf for creating another amazing event. Carlo spent countless hours organising, coordinating sponsors and managing proceedings (and keeping Chris and I on track).
