We've found a railway arch in Forest Gate that could become Pint-Sized Playhouse's permanent home: a cosy, nature-filled space for little ones to play, create and explore, and for grown-ups to breathe.

To make it happen, we need to apply for a change of use, and we'd love some expert help 🙏

Pint-Sized Weekend Pop-Up

📅 Sunday 25th October
10am to 5pm
📍 Arch 435 Avenue Road, Forest Gate, E7

The clocks go back that morning, so you've got an extra hour to spend with us! 😉

Here's what's on:
🍰 Big Little Bakes : indulgent cakes for grown-ups, plus weaning-friendly versions for babies and toddlers. One for you, one for them!
👕 Pre-loved clothes: great quality baby and kids' clothes and cloth nappies, 10 items for £10!
🎨 Live portraits by Grace : a soft, hand-drawn portrait of your little one with their name. It's the perfect keepsake or Christmas gift.
🍝 Nonna's lasagne: homemade by me and my Italian partner from a family recipe, in meat and veggie versions.
🍹 The bar is open: smoky margs, speciality Perky Blenders coffee and matcha.
🧸 And of course, all the play you love. Babies to big kids, all welcome!

Somewhere to meet other parents, have a proper chat, watch your little ones explore and realise you're not the only one navigating this stage of life.

From familiar faces to new friendships. Pint-Sized Playhouse has become so much more than I ever imagined when I started.

Building a space where families feel welcome, connected and part of something has become paramount in what I'm trying to achieve.

There are lots of little things around Pint-Sized Playhouse that have been carefully considered from an early years perspective. From the way our spaces are set up, to the objects we use and the freedom we give children to explore.

You might just see a play café. I see endless opportunities for children to experiment, discover, build confidence and learn through play!

Let toddlers paint what they see, but let them do it their own way. Instead of worrying about making a perfect copy, focus on the fun of looking at objects and playing with the paint.

Here is how you can break it down:
• Look closely: Put a simple object (like an apple or a flower) in front of them to notice its shapes and colours.
• Explore freely: Let them experiment with the brushes, textures, and mixing colours without correcting the final result.
