A few of my favorites from the series and crops of the first one for detail …which there is plenty of with a 50mp sensor. Might have to print some of these large on aluminum as they look pretty much made for it. #visuals #sphere #bubbles #abstractart #colorful #color #spectrum #rainbow #colour #wallpaper #macro #macrophotography #details #liquid #prismatic #liquidphotography #fluid #trippy #psychedelic #eyecandy taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

I updated the background images on my photography home page with photos from most recent project many of which I haven’t posted here yet. I love what this effect does to them so much that I created an extra long scroll down from the top of my page to my image gallery so visitors can enjoy without any visual obstructions. Here I sped up the transitions just a little so all the images could all fit into this video. The audio is an idea I recorded a while back with my guitar running through loads of effects. If you’re wondering… I built my site using @cargoworld and this is one of several effects they offer. #visualart #visuals #psychedelic #psychedelicart #cargoworld #cargocollective #photographer #piotrwojnarski #trippy #trippyart #bubbles taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

The details on some of the images in this series are as if not more interesting than the whole but not very visible at low resolution …so I included crops of the areas I thought were most interesting. #macrophotography #macro #liquid #liquidphotography #bubbles #bubble #mercurial #surreal #abstractart #abstract #details #wallpaper #background taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

Alright now we’re getting to some of the more interesting shots from the series. What is it about spheres and that humans find so beautiful and mesmerizing? Does it have something to do with our eyes themselves being spheres? …or that we live on one massive sphere while another even bigger bright sphere in the sky sustains us and yet another moves the tides? Are they the most functional and beautiful shape that forces of nature could design? #sphere #bubbles #abstractart #colorful #color #spectrum #rainbow #colour #wallpaper #macro #macrophotography #details #liquid #liquidphotography #fluid #trippy #psychedelic #eyecandy taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

Hopefully you haven’t outgrown your love of bubbles as we’re about to embark on a Bubble Odyssey that will go on for a while and get pretty far out there. Starting with these recognizable suds and working our way towards some mysterious spheres. I hope you enjoy the adventure. #bubbles #bubbly #colorful #eyecandy #wallpaper #backgrounds #prismatic #rainbow #spectrum #soap #suds #macro #trippy #details taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

Another set from my Neon Birch series which remind me of the lighting I would see at outdoor music festivals which I dearly miss in these COVID times. I love the combination of natural textures and wild colored light. #stilllife #birch #tree #bark #colorful #spectrum #lighting #lighting #texture #color #neon #surreal #trippy #eyecandy by @piotographic

Foxtail - Nature’s neatly organized seed distributing arrow heads, also known as Spear Grass. Invasive to the U.S. it’s most common in California. The little spears are so good at their job they have been known to kill dogs by getting under their skin or in their noses causing infections etc. so be careful with your pets around it.
This elegant and highly effective design looks great in the right light though. When it comes to beauty in design nature does it best. #macro #macrophotography #grass #foxtail #studio #studiolighting #studiolight #color #colorfull #texture #design #seed #plant #plantsofinstagram #minimal #minimalism #minimalistic by @piotographic

When the birch trees outside my place had to be cut down a few years ago I was saddened as I’ve always loved the look of their bark. I saved a few stumps and branches thinking I could do something creative with them and here are some results. These were inspired by the lighting I would see at outdoor festivals which were some of my favorite photo gigs to shoot. I just love the combination of natural textures and wild colored lights. #stilllife #birch #tree #bark #colorful #spectrum #lighting #lighting #texture #color #neon #surreal #trippy #eyecandy taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

One more set of my Red Tiger Abutilon in celebration of the first day of Spring and of Iceland’s new baby volcano! I love how minimal and classy the growth pattern of this plant is and how the flowers look like little lanterns made of lava. It’s just a short thin inconspicuous tree until the flowers pop and I love that from a distance they look like X-Mas ornaments! I’ve been growing this one since it was less than 2ft tall and now it’s at least 9! I’m not sure how tall they can get but I haven’t seen one taller than this. Happy Spring earthlings! #RedTigerAbutilon #RedTiger #Abutilon #plantsofinstagram #plants #garden #flowers #flower #flowerphotography #flowersofinstagram #flowerstagram #macrophotography #macro #spring #springiscoming taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

In celebration of the first day of Spring and of Iceland’s new baby volcano here is one of my favorite flowers that brings both Spring and lava to mind. It’s a Red Tiger Abutilon and part of the maple family. I love how minimal and classy the growth pattern of this plant is and how the flowers look like little lanterns made of lava. It’s just a short thin inconspicuous tree until the flowers pop and wow your eyes! I’ve been growing this one since it was less than 2ft tall and now it’s at least 9! I’m not sure how tall they can get but I haven’t seen one taller than this. Happy Spring everyone! #RedTigerAbutilon #RedTiger #Abutilon #plantsofinstagram #plants #garden #flowers #flower #flowerphotography #flowersofinstagram #flowerstagram #macrophotography #macro #spring #springiscoming taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic

Another shot of the highly portable and low key Airgraft clean vaporizer... loaded with the super tasty and for me personally, creatively chill, F/ELD Sour Lemon pod.
I included a screen recording of the nifty Airgraft app which provides info on the status of your vape, your pod, and usage stats, as well as control over your vaping style. @airgraftofficial @fieldextracts #productphotography #product #airgraft #fieldextracts #vaporizer #vapelife #vape #cannabis #cannabiscommunity #cannabisculture #420 #420daily #420community #cannabissociety #marijuanagrowers #thc #studiolighting #colorful #cannabisinfluencer #cannabisphotography #cannabisphotographer taken in Berkeley, California by @piotographic
