A few memories from the KID DRAMA B2B ALEGRIA set, as we closed @uptodatefestival’s @fomoklub stage in an almost 100% pure Autonomic style 🤖🤖 Huge love to UTDF for having us and a thank you to @kid_drama_cnvx for agreeing to do it in the first place. Not only was it a true honour (as he only does these b2bs with a select few people 😱), but also super fun (bare jokes bruv!). Had you told me a year or two ago that I’d get to play a prime-time b2b set with @charlie_fracture, I would probably have shaken my head in disbelief (mostly in myself). And yet here we are, a few days after @drumobsession #88 and I’m still buzzing, because IT HAPPENED! 😱 Immensely grateful to the @astrophonica bossman for accepting my invitation, for the time we spent together hanging out, having a laugh as well as talking deeper conversations about life… and of course for the b2b set together! 🖤 This was THE most fun I had on our main stage for a few years and I have no idea where the 2 hours went by. Could have easily played this tag session all night long, since Fracture and I blasted through footwork, jungle, turbo and other 160 bpm joy, sped it up to 170 and even went as deep as autonomic (which was a nice surprise for many!) and ended with halftempo heaters! Not to mention it felt like we were on the same wavelength (and synced head bobbin 😂). I really hope we get to play together again someday, somewhere since we didn’t get to do any electro, UKG, breakbeat like we thought we might (promoters out there: HINT HINT 👀)! Of course big respect to the DrumObsession crew for carrying the rest of the night like absolute champions. Mark my words, we WILL have more of our past DO headliners return to Poznań to play b2b with @artiztix_, @_impakt_, @keii.oh and @tom.estc, because our gang has the skills and the selection to hold their own in such back-to-backs. Real talk 💪 Much love to @bambi_uzi for being my biggest supporter and the best partner I could wish for! Couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰 Respect goes out to everyone who came out to support us in @projekt_lab on Friday. It’s always an honour and a privilege to play for you lot! My heart has been aching ever since the news of his cancer treatment stopping and it broke with the news of his passing yesterday. Lenzman is no longer with us, physically 💔 While I’ve only really had the chance to spend time with him in person when we had the honour of hosting him in Poznań for the 53rd edition of @drumobsession (much love to @ranyjulian of @supersuperstudio / @handramusic for the hook up on that one!), as well as a couple of chats at @sunandbassofficial and during my UK debut in Redditch (s/o Tommy Scenic for that!) - every single time it felt like being in the presence of an older brother, friend and beautiful soul with so much love to give to the world. At the end of the day, we connected because of his incredible music which remains an inspiration to me and countless others and the same music immortalised him forever, so he will truly never really be gone as long as we keep celebrating his legacy and all the beauty he brought us, also via the incredible @thenorthquarter label! Also I know he never really liked this rather unflattering photo of the both of us sleep-deprived at the Poznań airport, but it’s only one we had together 😭 I’m grateful for everything Lenzman did for the music and also that he got to see through all the outpour of love to him via social media recently just how much he and his work meant to everyone. Today marks 17 years since I had the chance to play my first ever DJ set in a club and the official beginning of my journey 🥹 You all know I’m a sentimental bastard and every year this date makes me look back at everything I’ve been through, the ups and downs. This time though, I’m thinking about saving some of these thoughts for one of the upcoming anniversaries (like the „coming of age” 18 one or the round 20?). Still, the thing that doesn’t change is my gratitude. I’m grateful for every single promoter who ever booked me and gave me a chance to play their events (sometimes even making my dreams come true in the process). Also grateful for anyone who ever passed my name to other promoters for consideration 🙏 Immense love & gratitude goes out to anyone & everyone who ever came out to have a little dance to the music I play (sometimes travelling tens or even hundreds of kilometers in the process, which still blows my mind when I think about it!) and anyone kind enough to share a good word about it afterwards 🖤 Even though I’m planning a special anniversary set to commemorate my 17 years in the scene (with tunes spanning every single year between 2009-2026!), tonight is also NOT ABOUT ME, because tonight we gather in @dom_technika for KEJTER BASS 🐾🔊 It’s a fundraiser for @wioskowomi - an NGO foundation which tirelessly works to find new homes for abandoned dogs and takes care of them. Much love to @kaliku_music for organising it and having me aboard for such a beautiful cause! ✨ Please note the door fee is an electronic donation to Wioskowomi - more info on our FB event as well as on the door. Dzięki Kejter Bass takie kombo, o które nikt nie prosił, a każdy (mam nadzieję!) potrzebował, dojdzie do skutku w ten nadchodzący piątek (19. czerwca)!
