#Chicago has been my home for 20 years now 🥰🎉🥹🩵 I moved from QC, Iowa twenty years ago with dreams of moving to SoCal asap. Little did I know, Chicago is where the heart is!! Chicago is where I learned who I am (and who I’m not). I had my first apartments, became an “adult,” made many friends, celebrated birthdays, met family, changed careers a few times, and found my husband here. Chicago is home. And whether or not I’ll ever be “from here” or live here forever, this will always be where my heart is #SweetHomeChicago #20yearanniversary by @pirateofchicago

Two days ago I dragged @itamar.ramot kicking & screaming to @jeppsonsmalort setting a world record!! Thousands attended in person and online to do a shot of Malört together. My people 🥂😋🎉🩵 The week of my 20-year Chicago-versary too! 🥹 #malort #love #chicago #PritzkerMalorted by @pirateofchicago

My mother-in-law came across the world and stayed with us for a week, and I can honestly say.. it wasn’t long enough! 🩵 #love #family #תודה by @pirateofchicago

My love @itamar.ramot had a convocation 2 weeks ago! Thank you to family and friends that helped make his day special! Especially his mom, who came a long way to watch her son walk across the stage in burgundy regalia! 🥹🥰🩵 #DrRamot #love #HeDidIt #LookMa by @pirateofchicago

Highlights from our road trip to visit my Dad and my Walsh fam 🥰🩵 Indianapolis, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky. Couldn’t ask for a better partner on the road and in life. It was HIS idea to stop at the Mothman Museum btw *swoon* Thank you for driving @itamar.ramot 😘 And for pushing me to take the vacation! (And pushing me while we ran with my dad 😂) It was lovely to see my Dad in his neck of the woods 🥹 and to be with family and in places I hadn’t seen in 30 years! ❤️💚🥲 by @pirateofchicago

October things 😍🎃🖤🧡 3 years (and 3 days) ago, I met a man who seemed too good to be true. He was charming, interesting, intelligent, passionate, kind, well-traveled, so handsome, AND vegan. I could’ve listened to him talk forever on that first date, and soon knew he was the perfect person to spend my life with. 2 years (and 2 months) ago, I was lucky enough to marry that perfect person. And over the last few months, we’ve enjoyed living in our new home together and hosting friends in our new backyard, including for Itamar’s first pumpkin carving! He’s a natural 🥰 @itamar.ramot It has been quite a ride so far, mon coeur, and there is no one I would rather go through the ups and downs of life with 😘 I love you, I like you, and I’m here for you always 🩵 Thank you for continuing this ride with me, and Happy Anniversaries (I know, we have a lot of them 😉) #LOML #tomeyouareperfect by @pirateofchicago

Better late than never 😅 A month ago, @itamar.ramot and I got to celebrate @mscharlettesj & @swahannylake and we couldn’t be happier for them 😍🎉 We are so grateful to have been included in your special days, and to witness a love like yours! 🥲 Cannot wait to see what’s next for these two beautiful humans!! 🩵🩵🩵 #love #happilyeverafter #letsgetanotherone by @pirateofchicago

Of course I didn’t get pictures from the backyard bonfire 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thank you to everyone who came to our housewarming/Bday hang over the weekend! 🥰 And to everyone who made this Bday one for the books, including the lovely messages 🥳🎉🩵 Special shout out to @itamar.ramot who doesn’t need a Bday to make me feel special (but picked me wild daisies, took me out, and got/installed for me the bike basket I wanted anyway 🥹), and to all of our very generous and extremely talented friends 😍💐🏺🕯️🫶🏽✨ Happy to report we got 3 new bottles of Malört 😆🥂 You all sure know how to make a gal feel #blessed 🥲 #ItsOctober3rd #love #libra by @pirateofchicago

Across the world in a few hours, Arieh Ramot will be remembered and celebrated by many. Not only did he have a ton of friends who love him, he had a beautiful family who spent his last moments by his side, advocating for him and making sure he felt loved, supported, heard, and entertained 🥲 I wish I could be there to celebrate the life of this impressive man who helped shape the love of my life into the wonderful human he is today. Wherever he is now, I hope it involves a lot of kayaking 🥲🩵 אריה# by @pirateofchicago
