Walking through Times Square last night, I reminded of something important about my life.It was 1990; I was ten years old, visiting New York with my family for the very first time. I spotted a camera in a shop window, asked my father many times to buy it for me, and—to my delight—he did. It was the very first camera I could call my own. 36 years have passed, and here I am again, walking through Times Square with a camera in hand. My father is no longer with us, but I felt as though I had finally found the answer to that day. Everything happens exactly as it is meant to. Thank you @womenstreetphotographers @gulnara.samoilova @ninakling @formationpermanente @maryirenem @leicacamerausa @leicagalleryny I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the anonymous patron who has made this residency possible. and all the friends supportiog me to make my dream come true, my life with continue with all of you❤️ 📸by Paul O’Reilly I❤️this photo by @piroko
