it's my first time selling so much original stuff and also some of my writing... but i had so much fun making these (and this catalogue as well lololol) and i hope you'll enjoy them!

with @bananaudders, inspired by our grad trip to Japan where we had the pleasure of meeting some rather interesting personalities 🤭

with @heicurrant, we've had this in the drafts for AGES lol

it's inspired by the 5Cs of success! if everything's so perfectly designed and optimized, why does it still feel like something's missing?

edit: in this piece, i was trying out a few different things - making them look sickly, maybe gaunt (?) + my hcs of how their mental illnesses affected their physical appearance! I do think i subconsciously aged them up as a result of this but honestly I kinda dig it lol so thanks for the engagement guys 😍 pls watch eurobrady he is an incredible youtuber

yuri and sayori, my cca mates whom i share bubble tea and waffles with after school

ive been watching eurobrady's playthrough while working and his explanations of their psyche are really enlightening. if this was anywhere near my radar when i was in hs i might have handled my mental health with a lot more compassion....

summers in memory

i do an illustration of tadashi from big hero 6 every year for my icon though i kinda missed last year (i think?or i just didn't like it very much)

i feel like every time i draw him he looks a bit different. in a way, i guess its a bit like trying to remember someone's life and piece who they were together.

just a little treat warmup... with every one of these portrait studies i'm realising how much my style has matured. i love being an academic of the arts!!! i'm so glad i found art i love what i can do.

oh the movie was incredible too, (possible spoilers??) except the idea of being kidnapped into a suicide mission with no preparation, having to deal with that alone with no recollection of your former self AND being thrust the responsibility to save the entire world is possibly the most terrifying thing i could think of.

they engineered all of my worst fears into a movie lol. i cannot stop thinking about his loss of agency and feeling so much empathy and sorrow for how he was betrayed. this was a psychological horror movie for me...

he's got such a fixed scowl on, doesn't he? always ready for a fight.

i wanted to figure out how he might look like without that tense guarded expression on. i guess my subconscious settled on kind of sad/tired which wasn't quite my intention but whatever.

(Allegedly we share the same enneagram. So i'm just gonna say that underneath this unstoppable force of nature is a weariness and a like desire for the fight to just be over. bro is exhausted from carrying the weight of the town on his shoulders and running around fixing everyone's shit)
