: in these first few months since opening, i’ve already had so many amazing moments in the shop & made tons of memories that i will cherish forever . . but this one takes the cake!

my new friend & his 5 yr old son came into the shop, lil guy pointed out the new 2026 MOTU Fright Pit & said “daddy, i want that.” it reminded me of when i was around his age & got my first Slime Pit, which now sits on the shop counter next to me 40+ yrs later. that playset quite literally changed my life & i credit the box art as one of my earliest memories of childhood discovering “horror.”

seeing the smile on his face reminded me why i rolled the dice & finally opened my own shop. thx to everyone bringing their children into The Pit, it makes my day 💚 taken in 219 Merrick Road Oceanside NY by @pitandpendulumli

: big up to my dude right here, day one supporter of the shop. he comes in all the time & asks me to turn him onto local music. so I recommended the new @edgarlihc record of course! he liked it so much he bought it on the spot & asked if i could get it signed.
