In 2024, I had the privilege to design various logomarks with AmaPiano Artist Pabi Cooper for her collaboration with Redbat, a clothing label owned by TFG (The Foschini Group).

The approach was to create logomarks that had typography that was striking, rockstar like and futuristic. These were applied on various clothing items designed internally the Redbat x TFG team.

Kreative Kornerr x Adidas: Future Forum (2021)

An oldie but a goodie.

Years back I had the honour to work on graphic assets with Kreative Kornerr, a South African youth platform showcasing South African culture & Adidas on a
campaign called the Future Forum.

This was a campaign that spotlighted 3 emerging talents, Uncle Waffles (Amapiano DJ), Slade (Amapiano DJ), & Billy (Fashion designer). This was to showcase their rise & how they are navigating the entertainment industry.

The campaign used the classic Adidas Forum Sneaker as their centrepiece.

Thegraphic approach was to design assets that were edgy, futuristic and bold. A very rough around the edges approach inspired by the 1980s. Movies like Blade Runner (1982) & Tron (1982) also inspired the assets. Coincidentally the Adidas Forum was introduced in 1984.

A huge shoutout to Kai, Zeus & Bianca from Kreative Kornerr the opportunity. by @pitanistudio
