It’s been 2 weeks, and the adrenaline is just now starting to ware off! I posted a detailed recap on Reddit. Feel free to check it out. It’s been a trip reading some of the comments in other Reddit threads, IG posts, and videos onTikTok and YouTube. Here are some of my favorite comments and a few photos that people have sent me over the past 2 weeks. Counting the days until Long Beach!!

I was only able to attend Day 1 of Welcome to Rockville. I spent the entire day at the Garage Stage. 9 bands in 10 hours. Light work! All 9 bands happened to have performed on previous or will be a part of the upcoming @emosnotdead777 cruise. I ran into so many cruise friends and Warped friends and festival friends! It was a blast and so great seeing all of you!!!

The one drawback to the Garage stage was that it was the only stage not turfed. So there was A LOT of dirt. Let me know if you can tell. Did I get any on my shirt? Is my face ok? 😂

After the fest about 300 people showed up to Buccees to see @sillygooseatl , but the cops didn’t let them play, so about 100 of us followed them to someone’s house for a quick one song performance. Enough for massive pit to breakout on a random street at 1:19am. I don’t have any footage of that, but @bykylieg has it all if you want to see what went down!

This post is doubling as a recap and my entry for @phernandezadventures Rockville Scavenger Hunt contest! I got a little creative, but technically I got them all, including the bonus! 😉
🤘🖤🖤🏁

Scavenger Hunt list:
1. Fit Check - slide 1 and slide 14 for the “after”
2-7. Me under the WTR sign, one of the towers (I gave you 2), Parlor root beer, ferris wheel, Blackcraft Cult, shot of the crowd at a stage (I gave you 2) - all slide 11
8. Video clip of my fav band at the festival - @theparadoxband slides 2 and 3
9. Mosh pit/crowd surfers - slides 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10
10. Travel pic - slide 11
**bonus** pic of me at barricade - slide 13 😉 by @pitkid_01

Wendy’s MOSH PIT CREW, coming to a parking lot near you! 👀
🤘❤️🤍❤️🏁

Everyone has heard the news, Wendy has gone FULL EMO! She made a whole album…ok an EP, but she got some heavy hitters involved and I think we’re all surprised/impressed with how good it actually is!

@wendys must’ve seen me in the PIT at @vanswarpedtour and dug what I was doing, because she sent me this badass package! Watch the reel to see what’s inside!

Thanks so much to Wendy’s marketing team and social media team for thinking of me and sending such cool stuff!!! And for letting Wendy show her true colors…BLACK!!! 😆

Great job on the album: @mattsquiremusic @mattymullins @memphismayfire @anberlin @cocokinnon @winonafighter @shanetold @silverstein @beaubokan @blessthefall @dereksteez @statechampsny @iamkatleon @holywarsmusic

Hype-man for hire! Calling all festivals, concert cruises, and backyard bashes!!

I am currently available to be your hype-man/pit starter/fan engagement coordinator at your next big event!

This started by accident, just trying to have fun, spread the joy, and START SOME PITS!!! Somewhere along the way people dug what I was doing and I started getting invited to attend some shows and events to hype up the crowd and help with fan engagement. No idea how it happened, but it’s happening!!! Fan and band testimonials coming soon! Let’s see how far we can take this! DM me for more info!!!

This video is the essence of what the PIT flag is all about and the reason I started holding up signs and flags at shows and festivals in the first place. Sometimes people want to let loose, dance a little crazy, and maybe get a little moshy, but they aren’t sure if it’s acceptable.

It’s such a beautiful thing to me watching people gradually make their way over as soon as they spot the flags waving. It starts with just two of us, and by the end of the song there are 30 people raging together, singing every word, and celebrating the music we all love.

I absolutely love live music. There’s something so special about watching complete strangers come together for just a few minutes to create an unforgettable moment. That’s what the PIT flag has always been about, and moments like this are exactly why I keep bringing it to every show.
