DONT SKIP: WALL OF DEATH INCOMING.

Thrown Into Exile at House of Blues HTX on the Wrath Across North America tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy.

The crowd splits down the middle as everyone waits for the riff to drop. The drums kick in, but the vocalist keeps yelling “HOLD HOLD HOLD” to make sure everyone charges at the right time. 😂

Then comes “GOOOOO!” and the entire crowd launches forward under the flashing lights.

The wall of death turns into an absolutely savage mosh pit. It gets so chaotic that I get knocked into and accidentally hit the side button on my phone, cutting the video off early. LMAO.

Consider that an immersive ending. 🤘 @thrownintoexile #pitpov #moshpit #metalcore #thrownintoexile #wrathacrossnorthamerica taken in House of Blues Houston by @pitpov_tx

Fefe making that bass look EASY. 🤘

Crypta at House of Blues HTX on the Wrath Across North America 2026 tour with Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder.

Another behind-the-barrier shot, this time featuring Fernanda Lira absolutely tearing it up on bass while unleashing those wicked high screams during a blast beat section.

Her curly hair is blowing everywhere from the fan below her, making the whole thing look like a death metal shampoo commercial. 😂

Then she walks right up to the front of the stage, directly in front of me, and hits the power stance while ripping through an instrumental passage.

A few seconds later, she’s back at center stage handling vocal duties like it’s nothing.

That combination of bass playing, insane vocals, and stage presence is ridiculous.

I promptly retreat because I’ve witnessed enough greatness for one evening. 😂🤘 @cryptadeath #pitpov #livemusic #deathmetal #crypta #wrathacrossnorthamerica taken in House of Blues Houston by @pitpov_tx

Reminder to get consent for successful crowdsurfing. 🤘

Opeth performing “Demon of the Fall” at Bayou Music Center HTX on The Last Will and Testament North American Tour Part 2, 2026.

The song opens with Mikael delivering “SILENT DANCE WITH DEATH” in full brutal vocal mode while everyone in the pit is moshing and jamming out. People go down, but the crowd immediately picks them back up.

Then I come around the pit and spot a guy pointing upward. I ask, “You going up?” He nods, so I lift him and carry him toward the front, where the crowd takes over and sends him surfing away to a round of cheers.

Consent secured. Crowd surf successful. Back to throwing down for an all time Opeth classic. 🤘 @officialopeth #pitpov #moshpit #opeth #progressivemetal #thelastwillandtestament taken in Bayou Music Center by @pitpov_tx

Bass Unc hitting dat power stance. 😂🤘

Septicflesh at House of Blues HTX on the Wrath Across North America 2026 tour with Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder.

First post from behind the barrier with media access, so here’s a closer look at bassist and vocalist Spiros Antoniou doing what he does best: playing bass, screaming his lungs out, then locking into that power stance and headbanging right in front of his monitor.

The camera catches him and the drummer ripping through a fast section before Spiros gives Houston the assignment:

“LET ME SEE YOUR FUCKING HORNS!”

Camera pans across the crowd, and Houston delivers. 🤘 @septicflesh_band #pitpov #livemusic #septicflesh #symphonicmetal #wrathacrossnorthamerica taken in House of Blues Houston by @pitpov_tx
