I’m constantly asking myself if the feelings I am having are even MINE or just what has been programmed into my subconscious from the people around me, past generations, social media, society… etc.

You don’t have to claim ANY OF IT if it doesn’t resonate or improve your life and wellbeing 🪄🪄🪄

I also want to mention.. a lot of the healthy relationship tactics will only really work if the relationship is actually healthy. If your partner is genuinely disrespectful, not trustworthy or has cheated in the past, that’s a different story.

I’ve been surrounded by a lot of death in my life and it puts such a different perspective on things. Especially recently.

I think about all of the people that I’ve known who have passed away and how one of the biggest ways to revisit their essence is through their social media… as apocalyptic as that sounds, it’s true.

I then realize how many photos and videos I have in my phone that were taken with the intention of sharing them with others because it’s something I found interesting, cool, or aesthetic, yet I never did. If I died tomorrow they would simply sit there until a loved one sorted through them all with no context, with them likely feeling too bad to delete any of them.

I know this sounds morbid, but life is morbid. I’ve loved posting carefully curated images and videos on here for a long time now, because I simply love the artistic side of things, but I’ve felt the push to show life in more real ways… because if I died tomorrow I’d want to be remembered on here as the realest me that I can be. When someone dies, their social medias become a meeting ground for all of their loved ones to gather, share feelings, share memories, connect with the other people they loved. It’s almost a personalized shrine or gravesite, as dark as it sounds, I’m sure you know it to be true.

All of this feels especially relevant in the age of AI.
