Today’s piece comes from @byloelee, a fantastic artist who blends the real with the illustrated in the most delightful way. She created this particular piece for us in Pixelmator Pro and we love it! Here’s what she had to say about it: “This artwork is inspired by my ‘Hope in NYC’ series that involves photography of NYC paired with illustration of optimistic monsters that demonstrate the resilience and hope I see in a city recovering from pandemic and political conflict.”

For this artwork, we collaborated with @olga_hashim, who checked out one of the newer features in Pixelmator Pro – Stroke with Brush: “In this piece I explored the different textures that Pixelmator Pro has to offer as well as its new brush stroke feature that I used to create organic outlines around the leaves, the stems and the character’s hair. With this illustration I’m hoping to convey a relaxing ocean ambience accompanied by a calming color palette.” Great work, Olga!

What a great shot and edit by @pyshkinpasha! “I took these pictures during the last hot days of summer. We went to the neighboring village of Vtoraya Berezovka and were lucky enough to catch this beautiful sunset there.”
