Proof of life and a little self-care. ❤️

Touch is an important component, and my pedicurist, Pepper, just knew. The video does it no justice. I didn’t know if I wanted to cry, fall asleep, or both! It really matters which direction your legs are massaged.

She hit my pressure points, trying to reduce my stress levels, but honestly, I really need a new nervous system.

Hot wax, warm towels, multiple massages, summer polish out, fall polish in. 💅🏽🍂

Dear Dahling Luvas, good morning. So my hair did in fact fall flat but it was so okay. Tony Toni Toné were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. It was such a nostalgic night. We had to lock our phones up and at first I wasn’t feeling it but I’m so glad I did. Concerts are meant to be in the MOMENT. They took us from the late 80’s to the 90’s to Lucy Pearl to just hit after hit after hit. I’m so not a fan of the MGM but tonight it was really nice. Short but mighty left the house again. I’m not done. Now safely home. G’nite dahlings.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that sent me prayers, my cousins that prayed over me and picked up my meds, my emergency contact aka my mother, my siblings, my son, my neighbors, my 🥊🥊 family and countless others but most importantly GOD. Surgery was HARD but a success. I’m in a lot of pain, very swollen, had more holes and attachments in me than I want to think about and I haven’t seen my incision yet but I can’t wait to get to the other side of this. I had a full thyroidectomy with removal of nodules/cysts and reattachment of my parathyroid to the left side that affected my overall health and have been in misery with this for over a year. I had MAJOR breakdowns but my surgical team, my God- PHENOMENAL. My cousin who is a traveling nurse Shanea was a God send. I’m home resting, tired ALOT, numb/swollen and very very sore, voice like a whisper, I’m trying to answer messages as many as I can. I have everything I need.

Prayers work, anesthesia is STRONG and the hospital is so beautiful and have a GREAT COOKIE (IYKYK) and my name is Tommi because the hospital had me listed as male/female and asked my preference on my pronouns, confused me as a man and a hermaphrodite all because of my name 🤦🏽‍♀️, I’m gonna let it slide- this time.

Check your thyroid, even if your levels are normal, different things will start to become weird (weight gain/loss, numbness, fatigue, tired, hair loss, bulging eyes/sunken, vitamin deficiencies etc) by @pixie5606
