Hiding in plain sight for #animaladventuresweek 🌿🐸

Inspired by a hike I did in a national park in the Amazon 2 weeks ago. Our guide kept spotting frogs and snakes hidden in plain sight! I wouldn’t have noticed most of them if it wasn’t for the trained eyes of our guide who grew up in the forest 🌳

I joined animals adventures week in 2020 and in 2021 and back then, they were breakthrough moments for me & my practice. So, this year I also wanted to challenge myself and so I painted this on paper and barely retouched it digitally - it was a challenge for me but I’m actually super happy with the result

✏️ Thanks to the lovely hosts, who have been such inspirations for me for years:

I can’t put all these feelings away, so easily, like you did - and maybe that’s okay

✏️ Hey people, today I’m bringing you another little (extremely personal) comic. The words and images for this just came very naturally to me, I hope they resonate with anyone else grieving a heartbreak ❤️‍🩹

Also, I made this with ink ✍️ I recently bought a @winsorandnewton blue ink and I’ve been having fun sketching and making doodles with it. I feel like using ink is so free and flowy 🦋 I intend on keep exploring with it hihi

A little shop full of whimsical things is finally here 🌷

If you love cosy illustrations, cute animals and bringing a bit of sketchbook magic into your everyday life, I’ve made some goodies for you!

You’ll find my illustrations on postcards, stickers, keychains, bags and caps as little pieces of art to decorate your sketchbook, take on adventures or gift to an art-loving friend ☁️

I’ve teamed up with @artiststore_global to make this happen, using their print-on-demand service so I can share my art without having to stock everything myself. A much less stressful way for this little artist to run a shop! 💌

If you also want to sell your own art online, you can submit an application via the Artiststore bio link and get a $30 free sample voucher by joining their Discord!

Thank you for all the lovely people who’ve asked if I sell my art. It makes me so happy to finally say: YES

I’ve been asked so many times if I sell my illustrations, and after years of saying “not at the moment”… I can finally say I now have a shop ❣️

My little art shop is officially open, in collaboration with @artiststore_global

You can now find my illustrations on stickers, keychains, bags, postcards, and even a cap. I’ve wanted to make my art available again for so long, and I’m so happy to finally share these little goodies with you💫

I also wanted a way to run a shop without having to buy lots of stock upfront or fill my flat with boxes, so when Artist’s Store reached out to me with their print-on-demand mode, I felt like now was the perfect chance

If you also want to sell your own art online, you can submit an application via the Artiststore bio link and get a $30 free sample voucher by joining their Discord!
Thank you for all the lovely messages asking when you could buy my art. This one’s for you 💫🥺💕

Have a little look around via the link in my bio, and let me know which product is your favourite in the comments 🤭🤓

31 days of drawings for @peachtober this year 💫🍑

It’s so fulfilling to see all of them together like this (with the exception of some that were digital collages). It’s been a rollercoaster, with loads of frustration but with loads of achievements!

I love to see they all together like this, swipe to see some more details and process 🌱 all made with acrylic gouache, pencil and wax crayons

Moth costume (my dream costume) 🦋🍂 for the last day of @peachtober

I’ve always been obsessed with 1900’s moth/butterfly-inspired costumes and one day I will dress as one!! But this was also inspired by Michael, a caterpillar that appeared in a cabbage in my friend’s fridge and that later became a moth 🐛

Seeing Michael’s process of becoming a moth has been so incredible! Also, I can’t believe I made 30 illustrations and posted them everyday for a month 🤭 this is insane! So much work! Even though it did not have the reach I expected, I’m still glad I joined as I think it improved my art a lot!!! And I did have fun and experiment with new techniques 🌱 so yey, congratulations to me and to everyone who also joined for 30 days! We’re insane!!

A Triangle Circus 🎪 for @peachtober day 30

All the little creatures gather at night to watch the incredible mr bunny’s performance, accompanied by the star man and the red squirrel on the band 🎺

I had so much fun with this one!!! I was so much more “loose” than how I normally paint and I love the result 💫 painted with acrylic ink, acrylic gouache and crayons

All types of squash 🎃 for @peachtober day 29

Back with another digital collage! I made this on @adobeuk photoshop using my new @xppen.uk drawing tablet with collage from a paper I covered with dry pastels! Layered on top of a 35mm photo I took in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Love how freely I painted this, I think it taught me a lot about following your instincts
