✨ Sometimes the best Disney magic is last minute! ✨

This morning I happened to check for dining reservations and somehow snagged a last-minute breakfast at ‘Ohana before we board the Disney Fantasy this afternoon! 🚢

The moment we walked into Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, I was reminded how much I love this resort. The tropical atmosphere is so relaxing, it genuinely feels like you’ve been transported somewhere completely different. 🌺🌴

Breakfast at ‘Ohana is served family-style, which makes it SO easy with kids. We had the delicious pineapple-coconut breakfast bread, fresh fruit, a full family-style breakfast skillet, and their yummy orange-guava juice. Plus stitch waffles! 🧇 🍍

But the best part was the character experience! We had such fun interactions with Lilo & Stitch, Mickey and Pluto, and our son especially LOVED this one. 🥹💙

✨ Pixie & Plaid Tip: Never assume a hard-to-get Disney dining reservation is completely booked! Keep checking, even the morning of. Plans change and reservations can pop up at the last minute. That’s exactly how we found this one!

Character breakfast ➡️ Disney Fantasy this afternoon. I’d say Fall Break is officially off to a pretty magical start. ✨🚢

And just like that… our Disney vacation has officially begun! ✨🏰

We kicked off our holiday with a visit to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and dinner at one of our absolute FAVORITES , Sebastian’s Bistro! 🦀🌴

If you’re looking for an amazing non-character dining experience at Disney, put this one on your list. Dinner is served family-style with shareable platters, and I’m telling you…the bread and butter alone are worth the visit. 😂🤤

And whatever you do, save room for the pineapple bread pudding at the end. 🍍It is SO good — and do not forget the extra sauce! Trust me on this one. @stuffjordansays_ I thought about you as soon as it hit the table! 😋

Sebastian’s has become a must-do for our family every time we visit Disney, and it was the perfect way to kick off our fall break adventure.

SURPRISE! Fall Break starts NOW! ✨🚢

We woke the kids up this morning and told them we’re heading to Disney! 🥹

First stop: a little Disney World magic today ✨ and then tomorrow… WE’RE GETTING ON THE DISNEY FANTASY! 🚢

They had absolutely no idea, and keeping this secret has been SO hard. 😂 There’s just something extra magical about surprising your kids with a Disney trip, especially when it means a week of family time, Mickey ears, ocean views and making memories together. 💕

Happy first day of fall! 🍂🍁 My favorite season is officially here, and one of my favorite fall traditions is curling up under a cozy blanket and watching Disney’s Halloweentown. It just doesn’t feel like fall until I’ve visited Halloweentown with Marnie and Grandma Aggie! 🎃

✨ TIP TUESDAY: Pack a small medicine kit for your kids!

We learned how important this can be after experiencing a medical emergency with our daughter during a trip last November. Thankfully, one of our family members had packed albuterol and a portable travel nebulizer. We were incredibly grateful to have them when we needed them.

Along with any prescribed medications, I pack a few family essentials:

💜 A portable travel nebulizer
💜 Prescribed albuterol
💜 Children’s pain medicine
💜 Children’s cough medicine
💜 Sore throat lollipops
💜 Bandaids

Keep medications in your carry-on, bring enough for the entire trip plus a little extra, and leave prescriptions in their original labeled containers. Always follow your child’s healthcare provider’s instructions and confirm any special requirements with your cruise line before sailing.

This is one of those things you hope you never need, but you’ll be so thankful you packed it if you do. Save this list for your next family cruise!
