@kurtmeyer.yogapilates got me thinking about ways to cue pyramid more intentionally a couple of weeks ago, and naturally it resulted in a little experimentation in my own sequencing. I really enjoyed adding this little Warrior I to Pyramid transition into my classes. And yes, I do practice cueing a new transition in my own body to make sure it makes sense before rolling it out to the larger student group. Learn it, do it, teach it, right? 🧘🏻‍♀️ by @pixielifter

All this new growth has me contemplating the poem I read in my yoga classes this week:

Don’t Hesitate

If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. Nobody warned me how quickly one little plant turns into a house full of plants. And I really feel like someone should’ve warned me 🤣🌱 ⁣

To be fair, though, I think I started with 12 little houseplants in 2022. Previous attempts at keeping 1 lone plant alive had been unsuccessful. The stakes weren’t high enough. I needed full buy-in 😂⁣
