Let’s talk self-compassion.
Ultimately, self-compassion is a
series of choices, a moment by moment conscious turning away from that which will harm your spirit towards that which will nourish and sustain you.
It is choosing, in any particular situation, and over and over again whether you'll treat yourself well, or beat yourself up, whether you'll deny yourself, or treat yourself as lovingly as you'd treat your child or your most precious friend or family.
Self-compassion means looking at yourself with kindness, with a conscious awareness of your sufferings, and in time, with a deep appreciation for the way you have transformed them.
Finding gratitude in the acceptance that life is a opportunity, not an obligation. I’m not required to perform. Rather experience all that comes my way.
Practicing self compassion.
Accept.
Embrace.
Reflect.
Feel.
Heal.
Grow.
Educate.

Daily question, what do I even do?
My normal answer is; anything I want.

But for real, I’ve realized one of my greatest strengths is that I’m willing to be a beginner. I say yes to new experiences. I don’t let not knowing stop me. I let myself fail… and trust me, I’ve failed plenty.

These are just five jobs. Honestly, I’ve had so many more that it makes me laugh.

One summer I wanted to live in Ocean City, Maryland so I sold bottled water on the boardwalk. Yep. Water. Well I froze it first. I mean that was my sales pitch. And somehow, I made it work.

Another time while following the Grateful Dead I sold socks. Everyone needs clean socks after a show, right? They did, lol. They really did.

I’ve worked for companies like AstraZeneca and Barclays. I’ve worked for tiny startups, family businesses, and companies that existed only because a few of us believed they could.

Most of what I know, I taught myself by saying yes long before I felt ready.

If there’s one thing all these experiences have taught me, it’s this:

Say yes.

To change.
To starting over.
To learning something completely new.
You can reinvent yourself as many times as you need to.

I used to envy people who spent 30 years building one career.

Now I realize I’ve spent my life building something different.
A life full of experiences.
And I wouldn’t trade that for anything.

Oh, the pieces of me.

There are definitely more than five things you don’t know… but we’re not doing all of that today.

I think people assume we know someone from the version they share online.

The truth is, we’re all walking around carrying entire lifetimes inside of us.

Some beautiful.
Some devastating.
Some I’d relive in a heartbeat.
Some I’d never wish on another person.

These are just a few of mine.

The rest… maybe another time.

So let me tell you what Ash & Honey actually is.

Ash & Honey is a collective of Community, Coaching and Retreats

It was born from the part of me that got tired of watching women survive lives they were never meant to settle for.

The woman who knows she was made for more.

More depth. More desire. More adventure. More audacity.

It’s for the woman with a big vision for her life who’s starting to realize her current identity can’t hold it.

You can feel it.

The hum of discontent you’re trying to ignore

The way your heart flutters when you let yourself dream big

The version of you that’s BEGGING to come to life

That’s what this is.

A community of women coming together to release what’s no longer serving us and reclaim a version of ourselves we haven’t met yet.

Shes magnetic, she’s vocal and expressed, she’s self sourcing and a magnetic creator -

She’s a women who’s fully alive in her body, her desire and her life.

Here’s what you can expect:

Local events - Empowerment, breathwork, somatics and community building

Dinners - some will be themed and some will just be intended to connect

Meetups - Ash and Honey Walk Club, Co-Working, Coffee Meet-Ups and Collaborations with other communities

Retreats - International and Local

Virtual offers - Community, education, trainings, etc

Regardless of how you decide to join this community - Every offering is built to pull you out of survival and into desire.

awww, I found a draft. The UP in August.
I’m literally crying 🥹

So busy I obviously almost forgot. Such a warm memory to see today. Right at the right time. Imagine that. ✨

No music needed because each slide is perfect for the memory in my head. ahhh, don’t ya love that. how much a sound can influence our memory.

The UP is truly a magical place. I feel so wildly at home there. I love that so much. If you live in Michigan and you’ve never been, well you’re insane. just sayin.
