Just a girly Magic: The Gathering player. Sharing my favorite cards, accessories, and what the game means to me. Not an expert and always learning!

Thanks to @razer and @smashpad_ for the cutest collection to add to my desk! Check out the link in my bio to read my review and see how it looks on my desk! And I know, this is not Magic the Gathering content, but when the chat needs someone to cover something cute, pink, and nerdy, I’m who they call 😅 by @pixieplaneswalker

KPop Demon Hunters x Magic the Gathering! Setting aside the money now. A few disappointments with some missing pieces to truly make a KPDH deck, but hopefully it’s just the start! I’m excited either way! @mtgsecretlair @wizards_magic by @pixieplaneswalker

So excited that The Hobbit is out so I’m back with @smashpad_ for some MTG musings. It’s a short and sweet article but I’m hoping to share more content in other formats since I’m particularly invested in this set. More to come! What’s been your favorite thing about The Hobbit set? Check the link in my bio to read my article. by @pixieplaneswalker

I finally picked it up! This manga was all over the place at MagicCon two years ago and I’m finally getting around to it. It’s called Destroy All Humans. They Can’t Be Regenerated. It’s about a group of teens in 1990s Japan learning and playing Magic: The Gathering. There’s a promo card in here as well, which I’ll open when I finish reading it. So cool that the series is in collaboration with @wizards_magic Have you read this yet? by @pixieplaneswalker

@comic_con x @wizards_magic promo cards acquired! Really loved seeing all the Magic activations and promotions during the con. And it was great connecting with the community! Whatever feelings you have about Universes Beyond, it’s awesome when you see more people get introduced to the game. There’s an entry point for everyone and that’s really what it’s about! by @pixieplaneswalker

Just returned from @comic_con and was able to check out the Star Trek activation. It was a short walk through with photo ops, but you get the Kirk, Enterprising Captain card at the end! by @pixieplaneswalker

Shout out to @danreb for picking up this 2026 @evofgc exclusive playmat for me! Excited to rock this at my next Magic night. Also, @comic_con is just around the corner and I may be working something for @smashpad_ . Stay tuned! by @pixieplaneswalker

Summer Games Fest was last week and my friends at @smashpad_ checked out @wizards_magic activation and grabbed a few things from Universes Beyond Marvel Superheroes! Check out the haul and make sure to grab yours when it drops on June 26th! 💥 by @pixieplaneswalker

Finally played my Witherbloom Pestilence deck and won! I literally just opened it, sleeved it, shuffled, and played! Had no idea what cards I had or how it would pilot, but still ended up being a super fun game! Honestly, it was nice to jump in to play because it made me realize how far I’ve come in learning the game. Feeling pretty proud of myself 🥰🤓✨💕 by @pixieplaneswalker

Since learning Magic, I’ve always struggled with what colors really work for me. I started with mono red because chaos and being punchy was a fun way to learn. Then I liked red/green because you can get punchy with really big creatures. But after lots of variations, I’ve really loved to learn mono black. Sacrificing for gain sounds a lot like my own personality 😅 But I’m still figuring what I like.

Enter Strixhaven. I’m really excited about the Witherbloom Pestilence commander deck because it’s sacrificing + life gain and drain. Two things that I really like. I’m sure I could have made my own deck around these themes, but that’s something I’m also still learning to do.

And c’mon, did you read Dina’s description? Tea loving, cooks up potions, charms, and spells, loves to mentor, and her community? Me. So me. ✨💕 by @pixieplaneswalker
