“But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. Therefore it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” - Ephesians 5:13-14

Hi People! The Lord gave me a dream earlier in the week. At first I thought it was a word for me and few people within my circle, but it’s been pressed on my heart to share it as it is a word for the season.
I hope it blesses you and brings you into alignment🙏🏼

Yours truly,
Phina the dreamer🥰 by @pizjay

What if you’ve been reading Matthew 10:16 the wrong way?

Jesus said,
“Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves...”

But what if being a sheep isn’t always obvious?

Before Moses became Israel’s deliverer, he looked like an Egyptian.

He wore Egyptian clothing.
He spoke the Egyptian language.
He was educated in Pharaoh’s palace.
To everyone around him, he belonged to Egypt.

But Heaven knew differently.

His appearance reflected the palace.
His identity belonged to God.

Could it be that God still hides His people in plain sight?

Could the very places we call “worldly” be where God has planted His ambassadors for such a time a s this?

This month at NJZ Next Expression Night, we’re exploring a different perspective on identity, purpose, and Kingdom assignment.

SHEEP IN WOLVES’ CLOTHING

A conversation about hidden identities, divine strategy, and the call to remain wise without compromising who you are.

Perhaps you were never meant to blend in…
Perhaps you were planted.

📅 Friday, July 31, 2026 by 7PM WAT and Saturday 1st August, 2026 by 5pm WAT

Come with an open heart.
Leave with greater clarity about your assignment.

Some victories don’t make noise, but they carry the weight of years.

Today, my daughter graduates from primary school, and yesterday, my nephew crossed the same milestone.

As I watched them celebrate, I couldn’t help but think about the journey behind the smiles. The prayers whispered in private. The battles no one saw. The days I questioned how we would make it through, while trying to be strong enough for everyone else. The moments when life felt uncertain, but God remained constant.

Being a single mum has stretched me in ways I never imagined. It has demanded strength I didn’t know I had and faith I often felt I was running out of. Yet through every season, God has been faithful. He made a way where there seemed to be none, carried us when we had no strength left, and proved over and over again that His grace is sufficient.

Today isn’t just about a graduation. It’s a testimony.

A testimony that God keeps His own.
A testimony that help truly comes from the Lord.
A testimony that what He starts, He is faithful to complete.

To my darling daughter🤩, I am so proud of you. Your resilience, courage, and quiet strength inspire me more than you know. You’ve weathered changes with so much grace, and today you deserve every applause. Congratulations, my love. This is only the beginning of all God has prepared for you.🥰♥️

And to my dear nephew @milore_empire @iamenojerry, congratulations to you too. I pray that this milestone marks the beginning of even greater exploits. May you both continue to grow in wisdom, favour, and the knowledge of God, becoming everything He has ordained you to be.🥰❤️

To God be all the glory. We have come this far only because He carried us.

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side…” 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️(Psalm 124)

Ebenezer. Thus far, the Lord has helped us.🙌🏼🙏🏼 by @pizjay

There is a timeline we’re all working with. The invitation to return to God, be covered by His mercy, and do what’s right by the help of the Holy Spirit remains open to ALL until that time runs out - which is when Jesus returns.

It doesn’t matter whether you believed before and chose not to believe again, or you believe, yet you’re not measuring up in obedience or still sinning. God still desires that people come back to Him, and He will do everything consistent with His nature to reach and restore them. That is the love of God, and that is the message we’re called to preach, not that because someone has rejected Christ today, or living in disobedience, they can never return to Him tomorrow.

The thief on the cross found mercy in his final moments and entered paradise.

Then you read the parable of the judgement of nations in Matthew 25, you see some who were convinced they had met the standard discovered they hadn’t and were doomed for eternal damnation. Those who thought they were unqualified were the ones asking, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?” (Matthew 25:37), and they were welcomed into the Kingdom.

The point?

Be careful about deciding someone’s eternal destination while God is still writing their story.

And be even more careful not to become so confident in your own standing that you stop depending on His mercy.

Let’s all be careful oo. If you believe once you have received salvation you can’t lose it no matter what you do, because it represents the unconditional love of God, you will be judged by your belief. If you believe, you can lose your salvation because you have failed to keep up with the tenets of scriptures, you will be judged by that belief.

At the end of the day, every one of us will stand before God. Live according to your convictions, pursue Christ wholeheartedly, and leave room for the mercy of God.

Some lessons don’t come from books but from moments that forever change how we see the world.

This is one of those moments for me.

It reminded me that not every battle is visible, not every danger announces itself, and some of life’s greatest protections come from a relationship with God cultivated long before the crisis arrives.

Sometimes, the chapters that almost break us become the very proof that we’re being carried.

If you’re in a difficult season, hold on. What looks like an ending may simply be the beginning of a story you will one day tell with gratitude.
