Plot twist: the marathon is two weeks out and it has a pizza route. 🍕

Seven slices of hope between South Slope and Mott Haven. Pick a stop, fold a slice, keep your pace.

Mile numbers are approximate, and we haven’t confirmed hours or race-day access, so check before you plan a stop.

Scouting NYC slices for Pizza Pacers 🍕🏃

Manero’s on Mulberry. A cool little shop with a range of pizzas to choose from. We went for sausage and pepperoni. The meat was delicious, and the flavors were very good and balanced. The crust had a really nice texture and folded just right. The cheese could have used a bit more flavor, but overall a solid NY-style slice.

A couple of seats inside, with lots of outdoor seating.

Scouting NYC slices for Pizza Pacers 🍕🏃

Unregular Pizza on 4th Ave. The Grandma Peppina was a good, fresh square, but the Hot Burrata was the standout. We really liked the creamy burrata with homemade Italian chili crisp.

The crust was light and airy, and dipping it into the burrata and chili crisp left on the plate was the best part. We’d come back to explore more of their creative combinations.

Kicking off National Pizza Month with a couple of days left for NYC Pizza Week.
