Surreal and incredible. Can’t believe @pizzarules and I have seen not one but TWO full solar eclipses. This one - 2024 in Arkansas, as well as the 2017 eclipse just outside Nashville. So so so lucky. The Vista Theater is back, it’s like a dream come true! Reunited with the best manager in the biz- Victor, the heart of the Vista, greeting everyone as always with his infectious energy. Caught the last showing of very first movie run since the reopening - Eli Roth’s ‘THANKSGIVING.’ What a wild ride! 🦃💥 And the cherry on top? The Vista’s shiny new 70mm projector, all thanks to Mr. Tarantino. Can’t wait to check out Napoleon on it. So much to look forward to. taken in Vista Theatre (Los Angeles) by @pizzarules

As the final jack-o’-lantern’s light flickers out, I find myself reflecting on a month that has been nothing short of a spectral whirlwind. October, with its cavalcade of Halloween festivities and the unleashing of “#ConsumingSpirits: A Halloween Guide to Potions and Punches,” has been a marathon of eerie delight and creative fervor.

I’ve been both the conjurer and the audience, crafting each page and potion with a mixologist’s precision and a storyteller’s heart. Like this skeleton bartender in the last flickers of #Halloween night, I too am weary—but it’s the satisfying fatigue of a mission fulfilled and a dream realized.

To everyone who has joined me on this haunted journey, your support has been the most potent elixir. Now, as the costumes are stowed away and the echoes of laughter fade into the night, I take a moment to rest and recharge, my heart full of gratitude.

Here’s to the spirits we consumed, the punches we shared, and the stories we’ll tell for many Halloweens to come.
