watch this jar transform

Layers of soft paint, dimensional details, and plenty of mixed media techniques transformed a simple glass vase into something that tells a story from every angle. The frosted finish, shimmering blues, and hand-painted blossoms create a dreamy, weathered look that feels both vintage and magical.

One of my favourite parts of this piece is how the hummingbirds seem to come to life as you turn the vase, each side revealing another tiny scene among the flowers.

Monika reminded me that 13@rts has their own aprons, and I couldn't resist customizing mine! I used a multi-sheet of iron-ons, plus stencils with Color Glows and multi-purpose medium, and finished with a splash of acrylic ink. These aprons are top-notch quality—definitely my new favorite!

For today’s 13@rts design team project, I created a journal cover inspired by freedom, sunshine, and new beginnings
I layered the beautiful Young & Free rice paper over my journal base, blending the torn edges with Color Glows in Amber, Citrine, and Carnelian mixed into acrylic flow medium. I added texture with the Dare to Dream stencil and extra detail using the Sunrise stamp.
For contrast and shimmer, I created a stencil paste with Fire Quartz and Labradorite Color Glows through the Writer stencil. To finish, I embellished with pieces from the Young & Free chipboard set, adding rust effects with Rust Powder and Rust Reagent, then highlighted everything with a spray of Old Gold mist
I absolutely love how the warm colours, shimmer, and grungy textures came together on this cover

✨ For today’s 13@rts Design Team project, I turned a simple apron into a wearable piece of art using the Dreamer with Wings iron-on transfer 🦋🎨

I created custom stencil pastes by mixing multipurpose medium with Color Glows in:
Mulberry
Rose Quartz
Golden Calcite
Olivine

Using the Trellis Tales, Magical Dreams, Fantasy Land, and Wreath of Butterflies stencils, I layered soft shimmer and texture across the apron before finishing with splatters of 13@rts acrylic inks in Old Silver and Iridescent for extra movement and shine ✨

The final result is a radiant, personalised apron that celebrates creativity, colour, and individuality

Today I’m sharing two pop-up cards made with the beautiful Tales of the Sand paper pack. I love the colours and dreamy desert vibe of this collection — perfect for creating layered scenes.

I was also taught by the amazing Shobi Daniell, whose classes encouraged me to make these pop-up cards… and I’m so glad I did!
