(North American Release Sep 9 via @neonrated) I was genuinely blown away that a film like this could get made in Korea and getting to put my name on something this ambitious feels like a huge honor. Thank you @_michaelabels tremendously for bringing me on board, and congratulations to you and the whole team on the incredible score. This project really stuck with me. Special thanks to @pablocroissier, an absolute rock through this whole journey. Esther, Forged Films, and the Editorial team, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your guidance along the way. #Hope #ํ˜ธํ”„ #JaimeeJiminPark by @pjmscore
Ground Zero is finally out! Along with its full soundtrack, now available on all streaming platforms (link in bio). Set in a post-apocalyptic South Korea, this retro survival horror game has been a really rewarding journey to be part of. I worked as the main composer alongside my amazing collaborator @katifalkflores, shaping the musical world across a wide range of styles. What makes Ground Zero especially exciting is how unique it feels, from its atmosphere to the gameplay itself. It's a world that really stands on its own, and if you're into horror games, you don't want to miss this! Huge thanks to game director James Marchant for creating this world and trusting us with its musical voice from day one. Being part of a project rooted in Korea made this experience especially meaningful to me on a personal level. ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Special thanks to @audiowmc for the incredible care he put into mixing several of my tracks and mastering the entire soundtrack, it truly made a difference! And to the incredible performers @jorsalmay and @ethanelseth who brought this music to life, I'm so thankful for your artistry! Grateful as well to our publisher @materiacollective for guiding us through the release process. Also many thanks to @hanspark125 for the beautiful album artwork as well! This is one of the projects Iโ€™m most proud of! I packed it with music I genuinely love, and Iโ€™m excited for you to hear it โค๏ธ #GroundZero#๊ทธ๋ผ์šด๋“œ์ œ๋กœ#JaimeeJiminPark by @pjmscore
Ooh lร  lร ! Last weekend in Cannes was a blast! ๐Ÿ’— Couldn't be happier about this experience @festivaldecannes. Never would I have imagined I'd be on red carpet in Cannes? Merci beaucoup again @mdf_cannes & @sacem for inviting me and I'm so grateful that I met the most lovely people. ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ“ธ @studio_vigerie #cannes2023 #marchedufilm #spotthecomposer #์นธ์˜ํ™”์ œ by @pjmscore
Iโ€™ve always said The Devil Wears Prada is one of my favorite films. Iโ€™ve probably watched it more times than I can count ๐Ÿ‘  Nearly 20 years later, I found myself assisting in the orchestration process for Theodore Shapiroโ€™s iconic score, orchestrated by maestro Pete Anthony. Still doesnโ€™t fully feel real, truly grateful โค๏ธ (Korean poster since Iโ€™m in Korea ๐Ÿค“) Seeing Runway after all this time felt strangely connected to where I am now. Everythingโ€™s getting faster, smarter, more โ€œperfect.โ€ AI and all. As someone who makes music, I can't help but wonder what that means. But maybe that's the point, we were never meant to be perfect, and maybe thatโ€™s why what we do still matters :) #TheDevilWearsPrada2 @tdwp2 #orchestration #composerlife by @pjmscore
Surreal to see my name on the credits for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes scored by John Paesano. So honored to be the part of the Maestro PAโ€™s team alongside the greatest orchestrators in town. I cannot appreciate Pete (a.k.a the Best Boss Ever) more - Very grateful and excited! #KingdomofthePlanetoftheApes #Orchestrator by @pjmscore
So happy to share that I got to be part of The Naked Gun for additional orchestrations. Big thanks to @yaron.eigenstein for having me on your great team. I couldnโ€™t stop laughing - the music really brought the comedy to life! It was also extra special to see fellow USC gradโ€™s names on the screen! โœŒ๐Ÿผ #thenakedgun @nakedgunmovie by @pjmscore
Super late update, but grateful as always! Huge thanks to Maestro PA for having me on your incredible teamโ€”itโ€™s an honor and a joy. #VenomTheLastDance #Orchestrator by @pjmscore
AWFC MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: A Q&A with Jaimee Jimin Park โ€œOrchestration has always been one of my strengths and something | genuinely enjoy. At the same time...l spent time studying contemporary production techniques, including K-pop production, synths, electronic textures, and sound design. Film music has also changed so much that orchestral writing is no longer the automatic default. Over time, those two sides of my background naturally began to meet... combining orchestral elements with electronic production and texture gradually became part of my musical language.โ€ To read more about @pjmscore check out the AWFC Composer Spotlight link in our bio. by @pjmscore
Super happy to see our names alongside @MaclaineDiemermusic for โ€˜@GuildWars2 : Secrets of the Obscureโ€™โ  at this yearโ€™s @WorldSoundTrackAwards!! Being able to contribute to the special game with a long history of great soundtracks is probably every composerโ€™s dream. It brought us a lot of fun including the highlight of my last year - a live recording session in Nashville! I couldnโ€™t thank Maclaine and Bobby Brader enough to invite me to Guild Wars 2! Congratulations to everyone, and a huge thanks to everyone who voted for us in the initial round! by @pjmscore
Itโ€™s hard to believe that time of year has come around again for another amazing #GameSoundCon gathering! So honored to be back on the panel this year Sharing the stage with my #GroundZero co-composer, Kati Falk-Flores , made it even more special. Huge thanks to Jamie Mac Rae for inviting us and putting together such an inspiring session. Always learning and so grateful to be part of this community ๐Ÿ™ by @pjmscore
Last May, I was really fortunate to be in the sessions in @oceanwaynashville for @guildwars2. It was super fun & meaningful to be there and listen to the music of Maclaine and our team come alive. And today... Secrets of the Obscure has launched & so have soundtracks! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿงก Each track has unique quality and I'm so proud and thankful for the team - but extra grateful for @maclainediemermusic & @bobbybrader for having me!
