Available now: “Tape 14/15” is the first of four in a series of upcoming releases I’ll be posting to Bandcamp over the coming few months. The 2 tracks titled “Generation 14” and “15 Cubits” are available for free streaming/download or for $15 on cassette @ link in my bio. Been playing these tracks for the past couple live shows and thrilled to have them documented!

Recorded live to tape with a slight master in the DAW after. Thanks to all who received an “is this dumb as fuck” text and politely responded “no it’s so cool!!”

Guest reveal ‼️

Noisy hometown reveller @nathan.placertill will be setting the stage for @lydia.lunch.official x @marchurtado_official at our February 15 show at @saw_centre 🤖

Influenced by 2010s technoise, Placer Till arranges self-recorded drum and pedal noise samples on an SP404 and routes the signal through a chain of oscillation, feedback, and filtering [certified farm-to-table]. Fragmented textures are anchored by familiar techno patterns and high-energy polyrhythms.

Serious business occurring Nov 9th. Had the pleasure of seeing @some.exercise in TO last year and we bonded over a shared interest in The Drin. Now we’re putting together a lovely evening of electronic/ambient/noise acts at @avantgardebar. Joining the bill are local favs @geunf (16:9 Ratio) and @anumalei

I’m playing a @congrego.online x @ilikemythrillscheap show for my new electronic project - Placer Till - Aug 15, City at Night.

General concept is mic -> pedals -> sampled on an sp404 -> drums that make you wanna say “ohhhh yeaa 🤔” -> routed back through the effects chain.
