One my all-time favorite interviews that I’ve done was with John Perry Barlow, the late lyricist for the Grateful Dead and founder of @efforg he passed away a couple years after we filmed for a day with him at his home. I think of this often. He wasn’t simply referring to being geographically lost but being ok with not always knowing what the next step in life will be or if that decision was the “right” choice. Last weekend I had the privilege to meet and ride with “Baldy” the founder of ADVrider. The community he helped create through his platform was instrumental in the inspiration and execution of my 8 month journey through Latin America. Inspired by his enthusiasm for life. #advrider by @placesbeyond

First ride this weekend with @ridetrailtech Voyager Pro. Some really nice features, missing some others. It was my first time using gpx tracks as well. Jury is out if this fits my needs. #advrider by @placesbeyond

As we got close to the pass, I rode up to a guy in our group who had gone down a steep slope. He was fine but getting his bike back up the loose slope would be a challenge. Luckily a Jeep came by and was stoked to use his expensive winch system. They had it up in no time. The rider was fine. #advrider taken in Lovell Canyon, NV by @placesbeyond

Back out to one of my favorite places for the DV Noobs Rally. I hit up a few new places in Death Valley that I hadn’t been to before. Sunrise to sunset travel day. Got home, unpacked grabbed a new bag, saw my fiancé for a minute, and now off to the east coast. Flight out of L.A. was delayed 3+ hours, rebooked out of Orange County. This sunset on my layover in PHX makes the hectic travel day not so bad. by @placesbeyond
