At 33, I never imagined this would be the age I’d become a mom (I thought I’d be on my third by now, haha). But as so many people say, you can never perfectly time these things.

Pregnancy has been such a blessing from the very beginning. One day, you’re casually talking about starting a family with the mindset of “if it happens, it happens,” and before you know it, you’re in your third trimester with the smoothest pregnancy you could ever hope for. You always hear people say that becoming a mom is one of the best things that can happen to them, and even just saying that out loud, “I’m going to be a mom,” feels so surreal.

I’ve been cherishing every moment—from enjoying all the food I love without guilt to feeling his little kicks. I love seeing him grow in my ultrasounds, watching his progress with my weekly updates, and enjoying at how quickly he’s developing from a poppy seed to a cabbage. But above all, what excites me most is Enzo meeting my tribe and experiencing the incredible love that surrounds us.

June.

This month, I’ve had countless moments where I felt like I wasn’t doing enough (work wise) because June was filled with endless celebrations, gatherings, and activities. From graduations and birthdays to BBQs, concerts, fairs, camping trips, coffee hangouts, game nights, and throwing events.

In this generation, we’re often so focused on hustling that we forget to enjoy life. It’s ironic that I felt like I wasn’t doing enough when I was actually closing deals, securing listings, helping clients rent out homes, navigating renovations, and working on two new businesses. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle we forget it’s okay to take a break and take in these moments.

I don’t know if it’s me aging, but I don’t want to live with regrets. I want to indulge in these moments without feeling guilty. So if you ever feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or you’re not doing enough, it’s okay. Do things on your own timeline and don’t feel like you have to “catch up.”

I had a friend reach out saying they had a co-worker whose friend was looking to purchase a property for their son in San Diego. I got right to work and connected with the family and the next thing you know, we're in contract! 😎

JUST SOLD!

I met my clients and now friends Lucas & Natalia from an open house years ago! We connected through the love of traveling in Japan. They worked with another agent in between the years and was discouraged so they paused. When they were ready again, they reached out to me.

We toured about 3 homes within two weeks and identified the one. We put ONE OFFER and beat out an offer higher than ours. This escrow was seamless and smooth. Excited for my friends to be homeowners in such a prime location that will continue to only grow in value.

Wahoo! 🎉

Just closed on a beautiful North Park home and represented my buyer and now friend Adriana. She found me through an Instagram hashtag (!!), reached out, and we met that same night at a cafe to go over a home buyers consultation. We checked out a few homes, but as soon as we walked into this gem, we knew it was the one. I mean... a condo bigger than 600 sq. ft. in North Park, with an in-unit laundry, top floor, assigned parking, gated, fully updated... what more could you ask for?!

The home was move-in ready and situated in an amazing area, and even though there was an offer higher than ours, we were able to secure the deal. 😉Now, Adriana has a place to call her own where she can comfortably invite her friends and family over.

I want to give a special shout-out to Kam, our lender, who was quick and on top of everything! Closing quick on homes that have HOA is not easy but he got the job done! It was also a pleasure working with the listing agent, Cindy, and her amazing team. But most of all, thank you Adriana for trusting me even though you found me through instagram! YOU made this happen and I am so excited for you journey ahead!

Quarter 1 dump

Jan: focused on health and growth. Didn’t drink the whole month, ran 60 miles and dropped 13 pounds.
- Last year was my heaviest and most unhealthiest year ever. I drank heavy, stopped working out and let myself go. I felt depressed because I couldn’t fit into any of my clothes. I felt gross all the time and felt guilt/regret every time I drank. I didn’t feel like myself and didn’t think I could ever climb out of this dark hole. One feeling I hate is always saying I’ll do something and not do it. Jan felt like the right time to say it’s all or nothing and I went all in. I have to say one of my greatest turn around and I feel better than ever.

Feb: Took a mental break and traveled with family.
- Always felt like I had to go go go. It’s part of my personality and it caught up to me. I felt like I was never doing enough. This month I took a full pause on work and ignored unnecessary stress. February taught me to press pause and enjoy the moment.

March: The month of celebrating non-stop with family & friends. Birthdays, weddings, seeing old friends. One of my favorite and brokest month.
- I always say I dread March because its exhausting… in the best way ever. Just in March alone it’s my husbands, mom, niece, brother, dad, friends… birthdays. This month is literally dedicated to my family and friends and as much money as I am spending, I enjoy showering love on people I love.

We’re already mid quarter 2. So much has been happening behind the scenes. We have new businesses and opportunities in the works. Excited for what’s to come! taken in San Diego, California by @placewithgrace

JUST SOLD!

This one was special because it was for my cousins. I get to be part of the journey for two people I love where I will see their investments grow. This home in Clairemont was listed at $750K with no action and the moment it dropped $50K I jumped on the opportunity. Last two homes in this complex so for $754K and $850K. We got a great deal, I negotiated $19K in credits so they not only didn't have to pay any closing cost but was able to use some of that to buy down their rate.

📣 Three things everyone should know in regards to this specific transaction relating to your home buying journey:

1. This home will need a little love but being able to renovate the way you like it and pay an amazing price for it is better in my opinion. Can't wait to show you guys the before & after!

2. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is always the most important to me. You don't know how many times i've heard people regret buying somewhere because the house was bigger or more renovated. Remember you can always renovate but you can never move your home to another location. A smaller home in a great location will bring more value than a big house far out that is less desirable.

3. The key here is not focusing on the interest rate because you can always refinance. RATES CAN CHANGE whereas if the home price drops, you can't ask for money back. My personal opinion, I would buy now while home prices have dropped dramatically from the past 2 years and refinance later.

The thing that makes me most happy about real estate is finding good investments for my people. 🔥
