very happy and grateful to place 2nd at the @bartokworld but even happier to get the rare opportunity to perform Bartók’s *glorious* 2nd piano concerto with the Hungarian radio symphony orchestra conducted by the brilliant @gergelyduboczky who jumped in last minute…(!!!!) to perform this piece is such a challenge, but especially it is so much fun and a great joy, and even more so in this incredible hall in the beautiful city of Budapest, where the piece was conceived. Thank you all for the support! @zeneakademiaofficial #pandereta by @plada.gorka

An utterly sublime way to start our 2026/27 season 🤩

We were thrilled to welcome @willardcartercello and Gorka Plada for a phenomenal first Barber Lunchtime Concert of the season, with a programme featuring pieces by Schumann, Fauré and Debussy 🎶

We’ll be joined next week by the fabulous pianist Tom Borrow, and we look forward to seeing you there!
