...look for something different. Here is a good place to start.

We are Finnish symphonic black death metal band Plaguebreeder and our music combines the ferocity of black metal to the brutality of death metal and enhances the blend with symphonic orchestras.

We are not here to chill and paint beautiful gothic soundscapes with our music.
No.
We bring the nocturnal cosmic horrors to your years.
And blast it with the power of 10 000 tentacles of madnes. by @plaguebreeder

You love old horror movies? Such as Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man and The Mummy? The really old ones, not the remakes. Then you gotta see our new lyric music video done by our vocalist Seiran.

"I grew up watching those old black and white horror movies. I also love those newer ones with the same atmosphere, like Call of Cthulhu. The mood in those is just... awesome. Dreamy. When I started planning to make a lyric music video, I wanted honor that style."

"I originally started doing this for Invocation of Lilith but I ran out of time - I only had this project on my desk for a year - LOL. But it suits perfectly for Tentaclean Majesty too. I spent countless of hours learning to model and to animate with Blender. For some details I used ready assets done by amazing modellers but It was still a 666 tons of work for me. I think it turned out pretty cool and I'm quite happy with the final video."

Yeah, you heard her. Now go watch it on youtube. Also link in bio. As usual. by @plaguebreeder

Can you feel the grip of 10 000 cosmic tentacles of madness drawing you to darkness?

Tentaclean Majesty is our 2nd single from our upcoming debut album Black Death Symphony. Here's our thoughts about the song:

"This song is a crazy ride. It combines raw blackmetal and crushing deathmetal to a blend of epic madness. With the majestic ending, we kinda threw everything in here."

"We actually dropped this song at first from the album, because it felt so off the wall. But here's something that captivates. Maybe it's the untamed nature of it... idk."

"Because the song is so wild, I threw in a bunch of different vocl styles from blackmetal to deathmetal and even some deathcoreish vomiting. I had so much fun doing this".

Tentaclean Majesty is now streaming everyehere. Vocalist Seiran also did a lyric music video to it. Check out the old school horror influenced video on youtube. by @plaguebreeder

Yeah, I am a silly goose because everytime I see 666 somewhere... I grin like the Grinch. But these numbers here... we owe it all to you guys! Thank you so much for the support!

I don't take it for granted than anybody would listen to symphonic blackmetal these days.
It's one of the controversial genres of extreme metal - too "mainstream" for the blackmetal purists and too rough for the actual metal mainstream.
And we are also a deathmetal hybrid within the genre...
But we don't care, we just do it for the love for the music....

Shit, I'm getting all sentimental here... let's cut that crap right now and get ready for the Tentaclean Majesty that'll violate your eardrums and eyesockets this Friday!

I bet you need some live symphonic black death metal right now. Preferrably with tremendous blastbeats and fast riffs.

Here's a clip of our majestic but intense song Invocation of Lilith played live at @ontherockshelsinki at 23.4.2023 when we supported the mighty @naglfarofficial with our fruends @einvigiband It was an honor to play before my childhood heroes. This gig was also special because we had our original line-up on stage for the first time in... idk. Decades.

You can now check the whole song on youtube, I just uploaded it for you guys. If you spot a wrong lyric or shitty playing... we'll laugh at it with you!

Tentaclean Majesty is a fierce symphonic black death metal assault. This is my favourite part of the song with a little deathcore style singing and groovy death metal riff. This really grips you from the neck and throws you around 🤟😈🤟

The song is released September 11 and I did a lyric video for it too with Blender 3D. That will be inleased on youtube. Prepare yourself for oldschool horror movie vibes!
