🖤 support your local girlband 🖤 These are trying times for those who make their living through art, political decisions are slashing budgets and cutting funding left and right. It’s public events like these that remind us how indispensable cultural gatherings are, not just from an economic standpoint, but also creating a sense of community. Art and self-expression is how we connect to those around us, it is how the mind plays and it is how we learn best. So PLEASE, now more than ever, keep going to see your local bands play and keep protesting against the defunding of the arts. photo credit: @stepstep_._ #kulturlandretten #brauchenwir #supportyourlocalgirlband #kulturstadtgraz taken in Graz, Austria by @planetyoni

“Papa, they’re all girls! That’s so cool!” . . Still can’t believe what a magical day we had last weekend with all of you ❤️ thank you so much to @schlagergartengloria again for having us and to all those who came and cheered! This is the biggest crowd we’ve ever had and we want to thank each and every one of you, from the old friends seeing us for the 12th time to the brand new followers we had the pleasure of meeting on Sunday, including the father who shared this sweet realization from his 6 year old son 🥹 It was so touching to see how many families cheered us on with their kids in the crowd. Leaving out our more explicit songs was absolutely worth it so we could be joined by the little ones, looking up at us with painted faces and cheeks filled with candy. Our hope is that generations to come will no longer be shocked to see an all female band, and that they will cherish music and all other arts and culture as the valuable parts of the human experience that they are.
