been holding so much inside, but booking a studio to just dance around to some mumford and sons & flume is a form of therapy in itself. every so often i love to do this, and give myself little prompts to inspire my movement, and sometimes they’re as simple and silly as “creature”. below was my inspo for each of these freestyles

1. season 2, episode 4 of Paradise. actually gut-wrenching. it explored the strength and grief that comes with loving and trusting one another, and it really has stuck with me.

2. just anger at the world, similar to feelings from the first one

3, 4, 5 kind of blacked out for these ones but really tried to not think at all and move the way the music feels, wanted to move alien-like (flume always reminds me of space/water)

6. this one i said, swamp creature lol

not to be cheesy but im so grateful to get to just move my body around in fun ways. dance is magic! taken in Brooklyn, New York by @plank_space_

presenting…PLANKSPACE: PURPLE EDITION!! thank you to all who came out to dance with me & help support @immdefense 💜🦄👾☂️🍇
-
choreo: @jasmineplank
song: Stateside by Pink Panthress + Zara Larsson

after a rough year last year and through the start of this year, one of my new year’s resolutions was to get back into choreographing and to not let social media make me shy away from sharing my ideas with the community - comparison is the thief of joy! i’m so grateful this little seed of an idea has grown into a real thing and i look forward to growing even more in 2026! thank you for all who have supported this year, it means a lot to be able to dance together all while fundraising for causes that need our support💜💜💜💜 by @plank_space_

GREEN EDITION ❇️❇️❇️❇️❇️

for this one i was really channeling dancing my heart out to just dance in my parents basement, as i was frequently back in 2009. thank you to all who came!💚

for this class, it was an honor to support the Immigrant Defense Project, an organization dedicated to protecting immigrants from deportation and detention and ensuring fair treatment within the legal system.

grateful for a night of dancing in support of such a prevalent cause🫂.

we boogied on down…thank you to all who came to my red edition class a few weeks back!! this choreo was so so fun to create - I loved experimenting with the persona i channeled with this one: a grandpa who is telling his grandkids (once they are old enough) his epic tales from when he was a teen in the 70’s. hope you enjoy!💋🍷💃🍒💄(the low quality is part of the retro charm)
