“Movement by Common Public of Vizag”
Tree Plantation 🌳 Plastic cleanup and Public Awareness 🐝🦋 Fight climate change ☀️🧊🌊

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Started with consistent weekly hill cleanups, meeting a variety of enthusiastic and like minded people. With more support pouring in every week, thoughts sprouted into ideas, ideas manifested into ACTIONS. Hours of persistent hardwork went into collection and cleaning of discarded glass bottles, after which they got transformed into these beautiful plant holders with the artistic touch of enthusiastic kids and adults

DISCLAIMER: Coming and littering in such beautiful places in the wild is dangerous to everyone’s health.
Our intent was only to let more nature lovers to feel the joy of working for nature in the middle of the wilderness..

Special thanks to
Sunanda @art_by_tsu for mentoring everyone with the painting.
Yesswanth and Divyansi for co-hosting the event!

“Please do not litter my home”, says the Marine Life

Yes. Every year approximately 12 billion kilograms of plastic packaging waste enters our seas every year due to our overconsumption for convenience. These plastics are breaking down into microplastics and have already entered our food chain. We need to reduce our consumption

Our seas are wonderful ecosystems sustaining beautiful life. When we protect our seas, we protect our environment, we protect ourselves 🌍🌊❤️

Nature doesnt need us. We need Nature

Hyderabad’s Kancha Gachibowli forest got attention of the entire Nation after the video of peacock’s cries and the bulldozers went viral. Yes. Forests are home to countless species of wildlife, rare medicinal trees. Forests control climate by keeping the environment cooler. They prevent floods by absorbing lakhs of litres of rainwater

Cutting down a forest for the never ending greed of politicians and corporates is just so cruel. You are being selfish for your own never ending greed. What about the next generation? Do you want them to wear masks and buy oxygen tanks? Do you want them to buy air filters to purify the air around them? Is this human progress? Or long term irreversible destruction?

We need rational thinkers. Not illiterate politicians

We need to coexist with Nature. Or else Nature will take its revenge on us with extreme weather events

The time to act is NOW
Raise your voice to protect the forests we have left
Plant and adopt trees wherever possible

Remember! Planting trees is not a great thing. It is an act of compensation for crimes being committed against nature by greedy politicians and corporates

Save trees
Save forests

Prevent disasters

“A Movement by Common Public of Vizag”

When we interact with the soil, dig and plant a tree, we form a bond with the tree as it grows up with our regular care. Let us all come together to interact with Nature, form a bond with Nature and vow to protect it. Many useful microbes present in the soil enter our body to make our gut healthy. We belong in Nature

When we interact with the soil, get our hands in the mud and plant a tree, we connect with Nature, we connect with the Mother Earth ❤️🌱🌳🌍

A team of enthusiastic people @sai_teja__18 @sidkukreja_1 @sushanth_vasupali of Vizag came together to dig and plant a fruit bearing tree in the premises of Indira Gandhi Zoological Park @vizagzoo involving zoo visitors

This fruit tree was adopted by the zoo staff for regular watering and care 🌱🍇
This tree will grow up to give shade and shelter to many, home to wildlife, and also tasty fruits 😍
By digging and planting a tree, we connect with Mother Earth and pledge to protect it ❤️🤝🌱

A peaceful walk surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the sounds of birds and insects. The trail was quiet, the weather was pleasant, and every step felt refreshing. A much-needed break from screens and noise. 🌿
Big thanks @nabo_thenthusiast for leading us like a guide and making the experience so smooth and meaningful. 🙌
