Went on a mission to find my beloved dog rose this morning before the rain this afternoon. Found many bushes all around (I only pick a few petals and leave the rest for the bees and other pollinators so it takes hours but I don’t mind ✨). Crossed paths with a lovely little fox 🦊 then at home I let de bugs crawl out and made a batch of oxymel (infusion of honey and vinegar and in this case petals, makes a really delicious drink and is also medicinal) and just a vinegar infusion with my collected petals for example bug bites, sunburns and dressings 💕🌸 #wildcrafting #wildplantforager #oxymel #dogrose #fox #dewildeapotheek by @planthoarder_

When you wake up at 3 in the middle of the night (often) with Vaiana or worst Frozen songs on repeat stuck in your head, you give your kid(s) your silent headphones 😎 thank me later. #parentingtips #plantsmakepeoplehappy #pileapeperomioides #houseplantclub by @planthoarder_

Spa day 💦 I still find some scale on her sometimes but consistent soap treatments keep her mostly happy. #pilea #pileapeperomioides #plantcareisselfcare #plantsofinstagram #plantsmakepeoplehappy by @planthoarder_

Teach them young 🌱🌼🌸 this year we’re trying to grow some calendula, marigolds, nasturtiums, torch Lilly and some herbs for the balcony. She was so excited for our little project, so sweet 🥲 #sowmuchmore #flowers #plantsmakepeoplehappy by @planthoarder_

Just as most people on Instagram will only post nice photos of themselves or of “something” and only the highlight moments of their life I prefer posting thriving plants..(not that I ever post anything on here then a story sometimes 😬). This is the state of one of my oldest #pileapeperomioides I let her slowly die and watched it happen and didn’t do anything about it until today.. I took her from the pot, removed all the rotten roots and was left with just a few tiny short roots that looked sort of ok. This is what happens when you don’t repot your plant when you know you have to. And my friendly reminder to you to repot your plants in need when spring comes 😘 #plantparenthood #plantcare #plantmom #reallife by @planthoarder_
