It’s finally here! I’m thrilled to share the status of my most ambitious art project yet; MYSELF. I’ve achieved a fun milestone—280 tattoos! Woohoo

In Jan 2025, I set a goal to get 20 tattoos by the end of the year. Yesterday, after 1 year and seven months, I got my 100th tattoo since I set my goal. This process has been a journey of discipline and gratitude. I’ve come to appreciate my body and health in a whole new light. Despite the pain, every moment has been worth it. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every second of this experience and eagerly anticipate the rest of the process. &&& now I look way cooler than I actually am. Hehe

I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the talented artists who have made this possible. I appreciate you all. Thanks for using me as a canvas.

Hey ReRe -

You’re gone, but never forgotten. My heart is so sore with grief from losing you. I wasn’t a very good grandson, but you were the best grandma I could have asked for. I appreciate you and everything that you did for me. We had 35 years together; that’s pretty awesome. From the very beginning we had a bond that was our own thing, it was unique, & that will stay with me. You are my ReRe, you have always been watching over & protecting me in your own way.

I’m sorry that I didn’t call enough; didn’t visit enough. I’ve been doing my best to be successful in my own ways. Santa Barbara is fucking expensive for little old me && through the years I’ve had to stay so focused just to get by. It’s toughened me up & I’m happy with the path I’ve been on, I hope that you were proud of me.

I’m happy that I got to see you one last time before you passed away. Looking through all the family photos this past week helped me remember so many good memories. I even discovered new things, other versions of you that I didn’t know. It made me really understand that before you were my grandma, you were your own person. I am sorry if I took that for granted. You really were the matriarch of the family - our core. You brought such light into everyone’s lives & always lifted us up. Thanks again for everything ReRe. I’ll miss you so much. Love you.
