After leaving Long Barn we went to @greatdixterofficial to spend a couple days exploring local gardens Our dear friend @fergusmustafasabrigarrett was the perfect, gracious host. The gardens were looking their best, with layers of blooms and foliage in the traditional Dixter style #greatdixtergarden #greatdixter #ukgardens #landcraftgardenfoundation taken in Great Dixter House and Gardens by @plantitwright

In the August / September issue of The Garden Design Journal (UK)
Jonathan Wright @plantitwright explains how he and his team at Newfields, have transformed almost two acres of overrun native species into an exceptional garden of native plants teaming with life, to connect Lilly House with the lake in the Virginia B Fairbanks Art & Nature Park, which lies at the heart of Indianapolis's sprawling urban landscape.
.
I'm so grateful to Jonathan and all the Newfields team for facilitating my photoshoot of this inspirational project. In my opinion it deserves world wide acclaim. I so enjoyed photographing the landscape, plants and watching the multitude of insects and birds that now inhabit the area or pass through. I learnt so much.
.

The Newfields team partnered with Kevin Tungesvick of Eco Logic for the design and were supported by @wildbirdsunlimited
