Trying my hand at Jewel Orchids 💎

These babies surprisingly did well in shipping. Hoping to practice a little more patience with these babies. ✨

Sorry for the slightly blurry photos, I had coffee when I took these HAHAHA

Been a while since I posted. Since then, alot has changed, and the losing of myself has somewhat led me back to some sense of grounding.

After trimming down, you're left with the scraps that really are still beautiful with a closer look.

My most gentle reminder to take things slowly to get back into the groove.

Took a few months, but I feel like I have energy bacl into plants. For those who don't knwo, the last few months were a quite tough, as I unravel and navigate through my mental health. I really took the time to focus on myself, which meant less attention to the plants. I have lost a handful, some of them were worth alot, some of them I was able to save somehow. But oh well, we will slowly get back into the groove. I missed touching soil, and mixing medium, and taking care of them. It's been a while, but I'm glad I'm back.

I missed everyone, hope you are all doing well 🤗 taken in Quezon City, Philippines by @plantonsdd

My semi-naked entry to #WorldNakedGardeningDay, featuring my Philodendron Mamei, because she's also a diva 💅

I was able to get hold of this specimen with the help of @thetropicalhouseph, with special instructions to chuck it in the lowest shelf, grouped with other plants, with indirect light, simply to keep it from getting crusty. I've frequently misted, and haven't really paid attention to it for a few weeks, occasionally checking up on it, and low and behold a new leaf starts emerging 🌱😀.

So one thing to learn about your plants is, give your plants space and time to grow, sometimes all they need is to be left alone 😉

Tagging @halamamser @letse.plant
@sproutsidemnl @itsmeebz @cachocolatier to join 🥴😅

Oh hey you, I think I got a crassi on you 🥺👉👈

I like how you're so veiny 💢, and rigid, how wide 🥵, you're leaves can get 🥴

The Hoya Crassipetiolata originates itself from Vietnam, and it's species name refers mostly to the thicc 🤭 leaf petiole (not yet apparent cuz mine is still smol uwu). It produces flowers which are odorless, white with hints of green or pink lobes.

Check the vid out for maximum leafage porn 😜

Ok, that's it for my #WaxplantWednesday enchri 😊

🔥 Mainit noh?🔥

With pawis-pawis action 😪💦

Been in a hoya hole recently, and I mean a hole that I can't seem to get out HAHAH

But let's all remind ourselves that despite the different trends or bandwagons, or whatever is currently uso, we ground back ourselves to why we do what we do. Each of our stories we tell, are our own. We share our journies, smile, laugh and cry together. 💚

So, what's you last plant budol? 😅

Does reaching 26 mean that I've gotten over my quarter life crisis, already? haha joke!

Celebrating 26 years with the plants that have continued to keep me sane, and the community that just overflows with love and support 💚

Thank you everyone for your greetings and well wishes! It really warms my heart to know that there is this community I call family 🥺🤗

Cheers to 26! ❤

Happy Easter from my bunny looking Syngonium Auritum 🐰 (don't mind the white dithane marks 🙃)

Don't forget that all you need to do today is any of the following:
1. Be thankful
2. Be kind to one another
3. Love yourself

And I say any of the following, because maybe it's not a good day, or something's not adding up, so maybe being kind to someone or saying thank you will be enough for the day 😊

This time around, the true meaning of Easter is about rising above and renewing yourself, either with gratitude, kindness or love. 🥰

Fresh Var. Burle Marx salad, anyone? 🥗

Been the most masipag since I got it, and was able to propagate a few nodes. Does really well in an aroid mix, and watering when top soil is nearly dry. Ugh love this so much, really a show stopper if you ask me HAHA 😅

I really can't get over this super lush Hoya Sunrise. It has washes of red over the leaves as it gets sunstressed. ❤
