Blessings ✨

This account is about plants, but it’s also about blessings, healing, and finding little pieces of light in unexpected places 🌿🤍

I wanted to share what brought me here and a little bit about my relationship with plants.

Plants from Isabel was born from my love of plants and from the healing they brought into my life after losing my daughter, Isabel, shortly after she was born in 2015.

In one of the hardest seasons of my life, caring for plants gave me something to nurture. Watching them grow, change, and bring new life into my home became a quiet source of comfort and hope.

Over time, that love for plants grew into something more. What began as part of my own healing journey has become a way for me to create, share, and hopefully bring a little bit of joy and life into other people’s homes too.

Every plant I make and every little creation I share carries a piece of that journey.

Plants from Isabel is a reminder that even after the deepest loss, something beautiful can still grow. 🌱

Thank you for being here and for being a part of my story 🤍

A little pothos propagation tucked away in our kitchen cupboard, and the reason for this account, Isabel, my sweet girl ✨

Taking care of my little plants brought life back to me during a time of sorrow. I hope they do the same for you ❤️

Succulents ✨ some people love them, some people hate them. I sit right in between ☺️ these lovelies can go the longest between watering! But they do require a little extra TLC. They hold all their water in their leaves, so squishing them gently will tell you if they need more water or not. The leaves will be nice and plump when they are happy, but when they are not firm they are thirsty and due for a nice big drink! Don’t let them sit in water though, the roots will rot, so if you’re using a pot with drainage holes make sure to empty it. Terra cotta is a great beginner choice because it breathes and dries faster!

Sun: Succulents love bright direct or indirect sun
Rotate: Turn your pot every few weeks so the plant grows straight instead of leaning toward the light source, you will notice this when it happens.
Grooming: Remove dead or shriveled lower leaves to keep the plant clean and discourage pests.

Each plant here is $15, the next post will show you individual pots available ✨

This Ficus Audrey was out all summer and loved the warmth of the sun, however it was time to come in!

I made sure to spray her before with a neem oil mixture to avoid any unnecessary critters from entering our space 🕷️

Neem oil helps keep your plants clean and removes dusts from leaves, helping light get through. It also is a natural, plant-derived organic pesticide and fungicide that protects your plants by suffocating soft-bodied insects and disrupting their growth and reproduction cycles. Just mix some in a spray bottle with some water and your plants will feel like they’ve just been to the spa 🛁

This monstera was sold today ✨

More will be available soon. The leaves don’t have any variegation, but with lots of direct sunlight, they will variegate just like the second photo 🌱
